Got an RSVP in the mail... - <FONT color=hotpink><B>Are you kidding me!?!?</B></FONT>

I got an RSVP in the mail today for 10 adults and 6 children! Yupp, that's right, 16 people!!!!!! I addressed the invitation out to 2 people not 16!!! I am fuming, absolutely LIVID!! I cannot believe the NERVE some people have.

This is my aunt who Im not even close to, don't even spend holidays with!! We thought that originally she would maybe put 5 AT THE MOST but never did I imagine 16!

To top it all of, she requested that the children have an adult meal HAHAHA which we all know is more expensive than a child's meal.

My mom is hesitant to call so Im like FINE! I'LL CALL her and say that due to the size of the venue, I only reserved a certain amount of seats for you. Im at the point where I don't care if she gets upset.

I don't know if I should laugh or punch a mother effing wall!!!!

oh wow!! absolutely you should say something!! That's ridiculous! I really hope nothing like that happens to me.

My Goodness! Who the heck else is she inviting!? That's ridiculous! I would definitely tell her what you were thinking.. Reserved amount of seats are available & she's obviously over the limit.

Wow thats extremely inconsiderate. You may not want To take My advice because Im an extremely Open And blunt individual but I would respectfully call myself and explain that unfourtunatly The invitation was made out to 2 ppl And we cannot accomadate 16ppl.

Wow. I seriously read this to my fiance because I wanted him to actually hear the stunts people will pull!!! Unbelieveable! I agree, you need to call her and tell her no. Who does that anyway?!??! Good luck, lol.

omg! I would die! Especially since everyone has maxed out their guest list and we have addressed the invites (not yet sent) to specific ppl (ie. Mr & Mrs Smith or Mr. Smith & Guest). I am a bit worried with people who are being addressed to Mr & Mrs only that they may invite their grown children and kids uggh.

I couldn't believe it when I saw this! When I first saw, I did in fact laugh because it was so ridiculous that it was funny. After I realized that it was real, I got PISSED OFF. I wasn't worried about OMG, I HAVE 16 EXTRA PEOPLE TO PAY FOR, no...because there was no way in hell I was allowing that many EXTRA people. I was mad at the fact that she would even do this and think its okay.

So....what happen was my mom decided to call and tell her that we couldn't accomodate her and all the extra people but we could maybe do 4 people. Since I wasn't therre when she called, I don't know everything that was said but my mom said she could tell that my aunt wasn't happy about it and just said to cancel all of them.....and that maybe they'll just go to the wedding OR to the reception AFTER dinner.

I told my mom that know that I know what she did and what she said, I HOPE she was offended and I HOPE that she doesn't show up. UGH...anyway that has been taken care of.

I don't know how much more clearer I could have been when the envelope was addressed to her and her husband by name.
