I have two beautiful nieces; Shyann, my sisters daughter, and Alexa, my soon-to-be sisters daughter.
Shyann is such a girly girl! She was so excited when we told her she was going to be a flower girl. "Are you serious??", she asked me in a questionable tone and then squealed when I assured her I was very serious. She was excited about wearing a pretty dress (she was a bride for Halloween this year! LOL).
Alexa is a little bit on the shy side. When I first asked her about being a flower girl she was very excited... and she made sure to tell me which dresses she didn't want to wear haha. Then she reneged on being flower girl, because she said she was too shy and didn't want people watching her... but now she has changed her mind again and wants to do it :) Kids are just the cutest.
I find it very special that I have adorable nieces to have in my wedding, and it couldn't be any more perfect <3
I was pleasantly surprised to find that Burlington Coat Factory carries flower girls dresses at a really good price! $30.00! And they were surprisingly very nice (note: the picture above). I fell in love with this dress- the flower just pinned on so I planned to dye the flower black. Unfortunately, they didn't have the dress in one of my nieces sizes :(
I went to the actual site to find the dress, hoping that I could just buy them directly from the site. They didn't have my nieces size there either! They only showed having sizes up to size 12... yet at Burlington, they had dresses (just out of that style) that went up to size 16- same company.
So, I had to say good bye to the cute flower girl dresses... But I will definitely try Burlington again soon! They have a cute selection, and amazing prices! If any bride out there is on a budget- definitely check out the Burlington Coat Factory! A place I certainly would not have guessed had flower girl dresses!
