Frustration!
grrr
So, we ordered a picture frame from target.com to place on our guest book table of our engagement pics. It was a collage frame - so we could use more than just one picture! Anyway, it came today - YAY!...or so I thought!
When I opened the box - the first thing I noticed was all the air-packing stuff was on top - and the frame was on the bottom of the box - so now packing underneath it! First reaction - that's a good way to break the frame.... and guess what - after taking all the packing stuff out - yep - frame was broken into 3 pieces! grrr!! And the wedding is in 8 days!!!! What kind of idiot doesn't put packing stuff on the bottom of the frame and on the top!!??!! Must have been a male! :) So, mom called and talked to somebody - and they 'were sorry about that' and will be sending us one that will get here by or on Wednesday! What are the chances of it being broke too? I probably just jinxed myself!! |

Here are the shoes I'm going to wear at the reception!! Pretty pumped about them!! Thought about wearing flip flops - but knew these would be WAY more comfortable!! :) haha

So...this is what I want! REALLY REALLY BAD!! Casey and I are both hunters - and I just think he'd love it! The lady is supposed to look at the pictures tomorrow and see what she can do. If she doesn't think she can do it - then I'll settle for a sheet cake!
Has anyone ever seen one....or know how to do it?? Looks hard to me!! |

Little Bit of Everything
Bouquets, Cupcake Stand, RB Pillow, Guest Book
Here are some pics of lots of things we worked on this weekend.
-got our mms (thanx mom - - they were a little $$$) -got my bouquet made -did all 7 bridesmaids bouquets -made all 5 flowergirl balls (will get pics of these later) -dad made me a cupcake stand (with layers that turn - - it's pretty sweet) and i finished decorating it -put some ribbon on the ring bearer pillow -put ribbon on the guest book -started making fondant flowers for the cupcakes.... Oh, and speaking of cupcakes!!!! :) Mom, Gma, an Aunt, and I decided we'd make our cupcakes for the wedding (yes we are making and decorating our own - - see an earlier post for pictures). Anyway, planned on making approx 500 cupcakes since we are planning on around 350 people being at the reception. So we started making them, thinking we'd get about 20 cupcakes per mix....well, we ended up getting over 24 cupcakes per mix. So...in the end...we ended up with over 700 cupcakes! Sweet I know! haha And we are planning on decorating them ourselves on the Friday before the wedding! It's going to be awesome I know! :) Think that's about it for this week of stuff.....we'll see what's to come this upcoming week!! Only a little bit longer!! |

Wedding Hair Style
Had my first hair trial!
Here are some pics of my first hair trial.
Some of them are while fixing...some are when done...some are with headband...some are with pieces hanging down. We don't know whether or not we'll have some pieces hanging down or not. I go back in a couple weeks for another trial before the big day. I think Casey took out approx. 45 bobby pins or hair pins. Told him he better get practiced up because he's going to be taking my hair out on wedding night. BTW: 1 MONTH!!!!! :) |

Here are some pics of the corsages that we/mom are/is making. we haven't started the bouts yet...but will be getting to that soon because she made most of the corsages the other day.

1st Fitting
Had my first fitting the other day!
Went awesome! Have to let it out through my abdomen - "to just relax it a little bit" - which i think is a nice way to tell me i'm fat right there! :) Also just had to hem it a little! Said I shouldn't need to try it on again before the wedding - but I think I will - just to be on the safe side!!! |
