Bridesmaids
So I haven't been on in awhile, but I need some advice.
These are the bridesmaid dresses. They look black in the picture, but they are "Truffle". I originally wanted yellow and ivory to go along with the dark brown, but now I'm rethinking the yellow altogether. Any suggestions?? PLEASE :( I have also posted a picture of how I want the bouquets. I think they are simple, yet romantic. I was thinking of having ivory roses with some less wintery leaves, like maybe fern leafs. How would you do a Bridal Bouquet if you had bridesmaid bouquets like these? I want my bouquet to stand out a little more then the bridesmaids, I just can't figure out how to have it. One more thing, what colour shoes would you recommend for these dark brown dresses?? Thanks again! P.S- Exactly 4 months till we say our "I do's!" |

Veils
What to wear?
I was wondering how to pick a veil? My dress is ivory and I'm having a hard time finding something that looks good with it. I also have some flower detail on the bust. Would I pick a veil also depending on my shape face? I'm wearing my hair half up half down, so what does everyone think would look best? I was planning on wearing some roses in my hair, would a veil be too much if I already have flowers??
Because I can't post my dress (the hubby is right behind me) I'll give you the style number so you can check it out! Alfred Sung- 6821 it doesn't show here, but there was a strap on the right shoulder that I added around the bust where there is a space. What veil do you think would look good with it? Are there ivory veils out there!?! HELP!! |

SHOES! <3
Ok so I'm wearing yellow converse shoes under my wedding dress for the reception and some pictures. The groom and his groomsmen will be wearing black converse.
Mine and Keegans will be embroidered: " I do. 9-10-11". The other shoes I have uploaded are my ceremony shoes. I can't walk in heels to save my life, and I'm a athletic girl so the shoes fit "us". Tacky or cute??? |

Colours!!
So... I must say I am happy to see that people have seen my blog!!! :)
I am happy I can ask questions and have them answered... I have A LOT!! My colours are going to be chocolate brown and the yellow seen in the bouquets in the pictures. Rather then having white detail in the wedding, there will be ivory to match my wedding dress... Id post the dress but my fiance is watching a hockey game right over my shoulder ha ha. I LOVE this bouquet shown with the bride. Does anyone know if this would be a hard bouquet for September??? It's fun and different... sort of like me :) I've had a lot of people knock the colours I have chosen... but I really wanted yellow and I thought chocolate brown table clothes would look amazing! Anyone have different "cheap" ideas for brown and yellow weddings?? I WILL NOT INCORPORATE ORANGE!! Not hating on orange... I'm just a ginger and orange looks horrible on me! haha Anyways, back to searching the internet for wedding ideas. |

Engagement
Hello!!
So unfortunately I cannot figure out how to add any pictures because I have no idea how to use my Mac computer! lol! But I guess my first post should be about my engagement!
Well, Keegan and I love this one little restaraunt called "The Pit for Pasta". He told me to get all dressed up because he was taking me out! This was about a year ago, January 12th 2010. So after dinner we went home and he told me to bust out the Scrabble board, but he asked me to get his cellphone from the basement (obviously so he could slip the ring into the scrabble piece bag. When I came upstairs his face was all red. I knew something was up! So we started playing, and I was winning by an incredible amount!! Half way through the game I stuck my hand in and pulled out a ring. Immediately I started to cry! After 5 years we finally got engaged! We just passed our 6 years and will be getting married in just over 8 months. I couldn't be happier!! <3 More to come when I figure out how to use this this! !! |
