A new look for a new woman
chopped my hair off!
So I have a lot of new stuff going on in my life right so I decided its time for a new look. So I chopped off a ton of my hair went really dark and went for a bob. I absolutely love it. Ive never cut my hair so short before in my life and I just felt like I should do it. I had an interview this afternoon for a managers spot at a different starbucks. I feel pretty confident about the interview and everything so I guess we will see what happens. I feel like Im in a pretty good spot right now married life is going well so far. Im kind of done with living with four guys though.... it pretty much blows..... anyway enough about my sob fest with that I hope all you ladies are doing well and that everyone is having smooth sailing with their planning. Just thought I would check in!

Getting so excited!
I am getting really excited! Unfortunately, for those who read my other posts, we are ending up living in the house, my goal however is to be out in 3 months. I was really upset but Im working on it. Its only a temporary situation. I plan on getting a second night time job ( just at like baskin robbins or something to maybe decorate cakes.) and use that pay check to pay off any credit cards, bills, ect that we have and when thats done Ill save up so we can get the apartment we want. Other than that Im working on checking the last few things off my list Ive finished my timelines the processional and recessional orders the head table seating chart ribbon wands which sometime this week ill post pictures of. I set up the appointment to meet with our minister next weekend, this week we will go pick up our marriage license which has already been filled out on the app online we just need to go pick it up and pay. I have about 6 more people to call for an RSVP and thats it for that. I mailed our final payment for the Photography last week, the Final check to the DJ this week and next week the final payment for the venue and we will be completely paid off for everything and we will have done it with no loans and credit cards its all been done in cash, such a relief. I think we are going to try and get our stuff moved next week as well as baking the cake and getting the frosting all made and in containers and its pretty much smooth sailing from here on out. Other than the minister we have no more appointments to go to and on the 8th I get to go pick up my dress from the tailor. I'm starting to get nervous but Im also past the WAY stressed point and more excited than anything else.

I need to vent....
So my fiance wanted to wait till March to look for a place... let's just say I wanted to start in January or February so we'd have time to save money and what not since March is so crazy... I mean I had my vacation/bachelorette thin in Hawaii and I was gone for a week on top of all the appointments we have and trying to finish paying off the wedding... So I found this apartment and a condo. The apartment was running $780 for a one bed one bath. The condo was going for $795 for a two bed one bath. I have been asking for months for him to save money not only for an apartment but for the honeymoon as well... He hasnt... so no that we are a little over two weeks away from being married we still do not have a place to live.... He has no money to put towards a place and I dont have money to do it because Im paying my bills on $8 bucks an hour plus helping my parents pay the rest of the wedding off...
He texts me last night to "ask a serious question about our living situation". So I hesitantly say what.... he askes if for our first six months of marriage if I'd consider living in a house with his two other male roommates now.... I was/am so pissed. Not only would we be starting out in a whole new life together, a whole new experience of living together because we've never lived together, but on top of it we'd be doing it with two other guys!!!!!!!!!! THAN he sends me a message later on saying that his roommate is willing to give us the master bedroom! WE WEREN'T EVEN GOING TO HAVE THE MASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are both single and we werent even going to get the master bedroom! oh my goodness... Its a larger house I guess and we would get the basement (which there isnt a bedroom down there it would just be a lounge area basicaslly) and a garage space... for $650 a month no deposit... at this point in time we really have no other option..... So all in all I get to spend the first six months of marriage living with my husband an two other guys and huge dog that smells like butt all the time....ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh just needed to vent... |
