My Ring

Well I've had my engagement ring for close to 2years now and still haven't posted any pics! I have no clue why. But anyways, I may as well go ahead an tell the story of how the hubby proposed.

Well let me start off by saying this had been a trying weekend for us. Fh and I had been arguing for the ENTIRE weekend. And the sad thing is, I had no idea why. It seemed as if he were just finding any and everything to start something about. But anyways by Monday I was so over all the nonsense so I just decided to ignore him. And out of nowhere he tells me he was going to the mall to get some shoes. I was like huh??? Some shoes, you just got some recently. But then I saw a look in his eyes and I just knew. I don't know how but I knew. As soon as he walked out the house I told our son that we were finally about to be a real family, When he came back however, I was actually disappointed AND I felt a lil foolish. Why? because he came back empty handed. I had dressed up and everything and I thought it was for nothing. But fh was like oh yeah you wanna see the shoes I got so even though I was even MORE disappointed to think he had actually got my shoes instead of a ring I was like yeah sure... And that;s when he pulled out the ring! I was jumping around shouting are you freaking serious, are you freaking serious so loud that I startled our son and he started crying. My fh could barely get down on his knee through all my excitement. He later told me that his weekend behavior had all been apart of his master plan so I wouldn't suspect anything was up. He had been going back and forth to Zales for a few days trying to find the right one. He said this one represented an entwined and everlasting love. Lol how sappy but I sounded right at the time. Good way to save his skin huh? lol well that's it. That's my story!
