Hi lovely ladies...
i have been so under the pump at work that I have neglected you beautiful brides to be! So a little update o. Where I'm at...
I now have changed my wedding colours from olive green to a blue/purple kind of colour. The dress that I've chose is pictured. Completly different to what I first wanted as it didn't suit the girls. Oh well guess there needs to be some compromise somewhere. So they were put on order after the ordeal of trying to get 4 busy ladies in one spot.
I also went for my final dress fitting before they ordered my dress & LOST WEIGHT!! So got two dress sizes smalled than orginally planned whoot! Let's hope i can keep that up for the next 4 months! :)
I also ordered my flower girl dresses they are so cute and little I cant wait to see my little twin cousins in them. Finally, we went and put on layby my fiances ring. Oh my he order a specially made on totally over our budget but i figured he will be wearing it for the rest of his life so he better love it!
Now we were told all these things were going to come in September so my budget was planned however in one week ALL the places called me telling me my orders had come in... And i have no moey! Gosh I hate monthly pay! So all my pretty things are in the shops waiting for me to go pick them up.
Now last week i went to choose flowers. Ive chosen ivory roses with either lilac or latte ones in there along with hydrangers. Then the girls with have ivory and lilac or latte roses in a nice little posey. I just dont know whether to go lilac or ivory. I wish I could show you the colour of the dresses. I always thought my flowers would bring out the vintage tones but I dont know if it's worked.
I've also designed my own invitstions..square, simple, lace touch and a crystal hanging down from it. However, in the midst of this - I've decided that I would really love to design my own invitations and stationary. I've always loved it and have design experience and hate my job - so perfect timing! As my friend said.. Its work I can do from home when I have bubbies.
Now one final thing thatbhas occurred - my maid of honour has just come down with gladular fever!!!!
