found one of the gifts for my girls
I was shopping in Belk and found these Steve Madden satin clutches that I loved. The best part...they were on red dot. Originally, they were like $40 and they were marked down to $10. Then, they were an extra 50% off that PLUS my employee discount! So I got them each for $3!!! I bought 3 fuchsia and 3 black, plus one for me to keep.

The bridesmaids will be wearing the strapless dress, and my maids of honor (my 2 younger sisters) will be wearing the halter dress. They'll all wear black shoes to go with my pink and black color scheme.

Wedding Dress
My dress is here!
I just got an e-mail today saying that my dress has arrived! It's really early considering it wasn't suppose to be here until January. I still have to pick it up but I wanted to wait until I go home for Thanksgiving. I ordered it from David's Bridal but that's probably the only thing I'll end up buying there. I'm ordering my veil from ebay and finding shoes and accessories somewhere else.

I don't want to put a picture up because I don't want my FH to see! But it has lace and it's a trumpet style. I know somebody who I want to alter it, but does DB make a big deal about that? Has anyone else paid someone else to alter their dress other that the store they bought it from?

We wanted to book it early so we would be eligible for upgrades. I've only cruised Royal Caribbean but I'm still excited about Carnival.

Did anyone order thier veil from ebay?
I've been shopping online for a veil because I just can't justify paying $150-$200 for a veil. I actually found a lot on ebay in the $13-$30 price range.

Has anyone else ordered theirs online/ebay? How was the quality?

My first choice would be to wear it down with a jeweled pin. The only things I'm thinking about are...

Is it going to stay fixed ALL day?

Can I wear a pin/clip AND a veil?

I also like the headband in one of the pictures but if I did that I would still wear it down. I'm also thinkin about wearing it half up, half down, I just want hair framing my face.

the most important part...according to my fiance
My favorite is cake #1 with the guests' names written on it. The only problem is we are expecting at least 200 guests so it may be hard to fit everybody on it. Any suggestions?
