Finally
So I haven't logged in for almost 3 months! Feels weird not having anything to plan anymore. I'll finally post our wonderful wedding photo's.
I won't post them all because there are way too many, but will post my favorites. In other news, our honeymoon to Hawaii was amazing and we've actually discussed possibly moving there someday, or even if we can afford getting a small place to go vacation to and then rent out to other vacationers when we don't use it. It will be quite sometime until either of those happen but it's still nice to think about :P Enjoy! |

I'm officially a married woman!!
Our day was perfect! There were obviously a few bumps along the way but nothing we couldn't fix. It ended up being rainy and windy which sucked but we ended up going to Bass Pro Shop to do our wedding photo's and man was that ever fun!! we will definitely have some unique wedding pictures! we then ventured into the mall as well which was fun too. A lot of little girls would point at me and go "mommy! a princess!!" haha super cute. we won't get our professional shots for about 3 to 4 weeks so I'll post them as soon as I get them. for now, here are some shots that my friends and family have put up on facebook

Can't believe it's already here! I'm feeling super anxious like I'm forgetting to do something important or that I should be more busy with only 3 days left. But I'm pretty sure there isn't. Just the constant cleaning of my house so that when my sister in law is over, she doesn't have too bad of an allergic reaction to my cats. I'm going to be super cleaning every day and also the day that she'll be over I'll be moving the cats and all their food water and toys to the basement and keeping the door shut and doing a super super cleaning so that Cheri will be as comfortable as possible.
I keep thinking "what is there that I still need to do or get done?" but I'm pretty sure there isn't anything. But I'm sure I'll keep feeling like there is something lol. I probably won't be on here any other time before the wedding as family starts flying in the afternoon today and we have more flying in Tuesday and Wednesday as well, so this is me, signing off as Miss Funke!!! Rehearsal Dress
Just a quick little update as I really don't have much to update about anymore lol.
This is the dress I will be wearing for our dress rehearsal on Thursday next week... wow, it feels so weird to say I'm getting married next week! Anyways, ignore how awful I look in this pic, it's 12:30am and I was bored so thought I'd show you ladies the dress. It's actually owned by my Maid of Honor. I was originally planning on wearing the blue one I ordered from China. It's still a bit too big on me and I don't want to bother my mom to try to fix it for me again, so my maid of honor said she had a dress she wanted to see me try on. And I love it, very simple and cute. Night all! |

Seating Chart
Here's our seating chart. Nice and simple. Not all of them are glued to the board yet as I'm still waiting on a couple last minute RSVP's. I glued down the tables that I knew were going to stay the same and whose RSVP's we've gotten for sure already.
I'll also be adding our names at the top and if there aren't any more tables needed, then I will add the wedding date in the bottom right corner |

Wedding Dress
Just a quick post before I head to bed. My maid of honor and I took her dress to get a corset back put in as well today. Once I told her about Meg's dress and how it might be easier for her to get one done as well since she's been working out and losing so much weight, she won't have to worry about it not fitting, because she can just tighten the corset.
She also bought me a new tiara to wear with my dress. It's gorgeous. The one I have is very old and was cheap, just bought at a Claire's accessories or something back when we were in high school and it was all tarnished and wouldn't come clean looking. The one she got me is smaller as well which I like more, and a lot more princess-y which goes really well with my dress. Last thing, I finally remembered to ask her to take a picture of the back of my dress. Tim had our camera so it was just taken on my blackberry, but still, better than nothing. I will add the picture of the new tiara in the morning as I'm too tired to take one right now. |

Wedding Countdown
28 Days!
Wow, I can't believe we're already under the 1 month mark. Time seems to be going so fast! It still hasn't really hit me yet that I'm getting married. I almost feel like I'm planning a wedding but not my own haha.
Our friend in the US has received our paper lanterns (yay) and will be shipping them up to us this friday when she gets paid. Also, according to Tim's mom, our Wishing Well is complete and I'm so excited to see it! Things left to do: -Finish up seating chart and writing names on place cards (I'm basically done this already, just waiting on about 7 more rsvp's to confirm) -Attend Bridal Shower and Stagette (All on Saturday July 24, so excited!) -Send out thank you cards for the shower attendee's -Get hair done (color touch up and trim on August 5) -Get hair extensions put in (August 6) -Hair trial (Sometime between August 9 and 12) -Get nails done (August 5 or 6) That's basically it. The only concern I have right now is the fact that my shoes still don't seem to fit right. My left foot keeps sliding out because it's a tad bit too small. I even put the gel inserts on the balls of my feet and the non-slip things on the backs of the heels and my left foot still is sliding a bit. I'm wondering if I could staple gun in some straps? haha any suggestions would rock ladies! |

Bridesmaids
Crisis and bridezilla moment averted!
Last month Tim's sister Meg who is one of my bridesmaids, found out she was pregnant. She is now about 4 months along, and will be a little over 5 for the wedding. Not a big deal except the dress was ordered for her size and even when we picked it up in february before she was even pregnant it was tight on her. So I was panicking a little bit, and had a mini bridezilla moment yesterday explaining to Tim how I didn't want her to have a different dress from all the other girls because I'm supposed to be the one who stands out and looks different lol. But today Meg, Tim's Mom and I went to an alterations place to see what could be done. Luckily the girl has been doing it for a long time so knows tricks of the trade. SHe is going to be making Meg's blue sash skinnier so that it free flows higher up so that will cover the belly as she grows. And as for the size around, they are going to put a corset back in so that if whether she stays the size she is now or if she grows a bit more, she has a bit more expandability by loosening the corset. Phew! They won't be hemming the bottom until the finish fixing the sash and put the corset in because that will make it a bit shorter too. So she has to go back at the end of july to try it on again to make sure everything fits nicely and to see how much hemming needs to be done and then she will have the dress about a week before the wedding.
Cutting it a bit close but I'm just glad that she will still be mostly matching the other girls and I personally love corset backs and if it wasn't so expensive and all my girls didn't already pay $200 for the dress to begin with, I would've told them all to get it altered to a corset back. Oh well. I'm still happy everything worked out :) |

Our colors are black with accent of a silvery/baby blue. We never really had a planned theme but with the choice of the Nightmare Before Christmas cake, and the date being Friday the 13th, it has taken on a "Friday the 13th"/Nightmare Before Christmas type theme haha.
