Goodbye WBC ladies :o(
Time to say bye bye to WBC...
Hello again WBC ladies,
Well it was fun while it lasted but it's time to say goodbye to WBC. No FH and I are not calling off the wedding lol. To be honest I really can't take these pop-ups anymore (yes some of you may think it's petty). For me it's kinda annoying and speaks for the site itself when they don't consider their patrons enough to minimize their advertising to comfortable setting. I have a marketing degree and personally know how important sponsors are but this it kinda over doing it! I MEAN REALLY EVERY NEW PAGE NEEDS A NEW POP UP! I know it's free but give me an electronic break! Maybe sometime in the near future I will check back to see if any changes have been made but for now "I'M MAD AS H*LL AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE" or however it goes lol. Everyone here has been so nice and I personally think this blog site has the most creative and DIVA brides around. I'm gonna miss you ladies XOXO lilelf2 |

Bridesmaids
Tell me what you think...Dresses...VOTE
Hi again ladies,
I need your opinion I don't want to do your average wedding party attire ya know. I want my girls to look HOT and to mix it up a bit. I don't want to mix it up too much but you will see what I mean. All my girls have tried on these dress and they look amazing in them. I'm not at home now so I had to do this in paint on FH computer. MOH/BM's Dress in red w/ Brown sash JBM's in choc w/ MOH in the middle my two BM's on each side of her and my JBM's on the far right and left. JM's dresses have to stay, both are under the age of 18 and I think anything too sassy would just be inappropriate Ok if you have time Vote ( Maybe 1, Maybe 2, or trash both) |

NWR a break from planning: Have you ever googled yourself
So here I am sitting in front of the computer trying my hardest to concentrate on wedding, wedding, wedding, and for some crazy reason I wanted to Google me name. Just to see what pops up and guess what I get ladies, NOTHING! OK so your probably thinking I'm crazy LOL.
Before I finished even typing name I was hoping that nothing bad would come up or anything at all as a matter of fact. Now it's just disappointed that there's not one single thing LMBO. I got about 50 other LaTasha's and beyond indescribable amount of Christmas stuff. I just think it's funny ladies and NO I don't think my name should pop up as if I were Beyonce LOL Have you ever googled yourself? What did you get? |

Light in the box.com Article/Review/Rip off report
Light in the box.com Article/Review/Rip off report
Hey again ladies
I've been seeing alot of post asking about lightinthebox.com and I thought that maybe I should post this article by Romantic Gowns that made me change my mind about ordering from Light in the Box.com. I am not trying to in anyway electronically slander this company. I believe that every bride, such as myself should do plenty of research before buying anything online and in stores. I hope we all can get helpful hints from one bride to the other and I just feel that we should keep each other informed. I am not suggesting that you not order from lightinthebox.com, but I am suggesting that you are careful with what you order. I have not ordered from Romanticgowns.com or lightinthebox.com. This post is for informational purposes only. Just follow the links. http://www.romanticgowns.com/collection/otheronlinestores.asp http://www.ripoffreport.com/Search/bridal-blvd.aspx http://www.ripoffreport.com/Search/light-in-the-box.aspx |

Ask a Question
I need advice on STD's...am I overeacting?
Hello again ladies
Hoping you can help me with this on. I ordered my STD's a while back through VistaPrint I loved them but when I received them they were all blurry. So I contacted VistaPrint and they replied that they put a reorder in my portfolio. I OK'ed the reorder and they sent them to me in only 3 days. These are crisp, clean and high quality but the only problem is they are the wrong ones. The original ones I ordered had gray shading on the back kinda like a fancy paper sorta thing lol. These are just plain white and they look like a regular post card with information. I contacted VistaPrint and honestly said that along with a representative I confirmed and approved the STD's to be reordered but I overlooked the minor details. They ever so kindly replied that I could reorder them for free but this time I would have to pay for shipping. I completely understand that since I am the one that confirmed the order and it was my responsibility to make sure it is correct, BTW (I heart you VistaPrint). Now the problem that I'm having is I feel as if they are tanted. I really don't want them anymore. I also feel as if I'm being childish about the whole thing. Even though they are willing to print them again I just dont have that same Woo Hoo about them anymore :o(. I know I have to be wrong for feeling this way. Or am I? I just don't know anymore. Am I wrong for feeling this way about a trivial postcard? My next option is to go Bigger and Better! I love being creative, so should I start from the drawing board and do them myself. Add a PIc use a different design something I can be happy about again and personalize it. (Of course I'm going to need your help ladies I cant do this on my own) To sum it up: Am I being a Big McBrat or should I not feel so bad about wanting to have that feeling again? I'll put up some pics after I get them scanned cya soon ladies... UPDATED: PICS the scans didn't come out very well sorry |

Wedding Websites For Men
WOW...I didn't even know it existed!
So I was browsing the Web this morning and came across some websites that help our men in the planning process. I don't know about you ladies but without wedding websites I would be clueless to most parts of the wedding process. I know for me, my FH is clueless, completely and ridiculously clueless (lmao). So why shouldn't our men have an outlet for ideas, support, and venting and give them the opportunity for us to say "Oh, I didn't even think of that." Especially if you find him saying time and time again "Oh, I didn't know that." So I sent my FH an e-mail of the links I have below to help him in the I-Do process.
Some Funny conversations that lead me to believe that he needed these sites: "Yes, I know your a chef but you can not cook all the food for the wedding the day before." "Yes, your best man throws the Bachelor party not you." "No, your friend can not plan the wedding because she just got married and thinks she good at it." "Yes, all of the colors have to match" "Am I supposed to get the addresses?" "Babe, did you get the addresses for me?" "Oh you need them now?" "So you are supposed to have more than one ring." "Why are we getting gifts for our guest when were paying for everything" ya'll he stumped me on this one I had to say "Um...we just do" lol This was the kicker y'all: "Do we go to the courthouse before of after the wedding?" Now my dearest FH is one of the smartest men I have ever meet. Even last night he explained the genes between living organisms to me and different sequences that genes fall into. Hey he even drew a diagram on the spot. I'm not the science geek here. He knows as much about the wedding as I do about science. Now if your FH is a little left behind about wedding planning, then refer him to these sites: http://www.iamstaggered.com/ http://www.groompower.com/index.html http://www.theplunge.com/ http://www.groomsonline.com/ Oh and I found one that I hated do not show your guy this one but some of you may think it's funny http://www.icbe.org/weddings/index.shtml *EDIT* I should mention that my FH now wants to be more involved in the planning. That is why I say "left behind". |

Mother/Son dance; what if...?
So I've been thinking about the dances lately. Well...way before I posted this and a lot would be more truthful lol.
My FMIL (future mother-in-law) God bless her for being such an amazing women and mother. She does what she can everyday of her life even though she has a painful condition that doesn't allow her to sit or stand for very long. She's making herself stronger everyday just for our wedding and the Mother/Son dance. God forgive my ignorance for even thinking that she may not be in the condition that she wants using your will and her own. But...what if? WBC ladies if she can't do the dance I want to do something for Mother/Son portion of the reception but what? My thoughts: -Having FH dance with my mother in honor of his mother? Do you think that may come off as an insult or a stab in the back? Instead of feeling honored she may feel replaced? -Doing a group dance? Maybe to a song that debuted the day her son was born? or the day she was born? -Leaving that portion out of the reception all together? -Ummm... - Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

DIY Wedding
DIY Brides, *Calling all DIY Brides*
If you are looking for DIY Save the Dates or Invitations Micorosoft Office has free downloadable templates for you. I dont know about you but I'm a little sceptical about sites that offer free template downloads. Just one click and your computer has a virus and sick as a dog. This is through Microsoft Office it gives you some assurance that it's safe. The pics that I put up are just a small portion of what they have. Btw, most of them work with PowerPoint 2007 or later
After you are done save it on your flash drive or CD and take it to Office Max they have prints from 10-16 cent each. Just a hint: Have them print 2 on a page and cut your cost in half. Also, have them cut them to size for you (not sure if there is an extra charge for this) or go to your local libary and use their Guillotine Trimmer to do it yourself. I just wish they had a Fall Theme one *sigh*. I guess if I can't find what I want then I'll do Vista Print they are amazing, inexpensive and they always have free stuff. Here ya go: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/CT010144780.aspx# If anyone has already found a safe site please feel free to comment so I can check it out. Still looking for fall theme Save the Date and Invitaions. Thanks ladies |

50% off almost all there florals even greenery. I'm pretty sure it ends on Saturday but I'm going out there today. There was bouquets that I loved that weren't in the wedding section that are now really cheap. This might save me from having to do them myself. Of course I still have to look for mine *sigh* LOL
