No tulips for you!!
Apparently this year was a really bad year for tulips, so says my wedding planner. So now, this is going to be my new bouquet!

Wedding Hair Style
Something new
Okay I think I finially decided. I am going to go with a braid instead of wavy or curl. I love this look because its not so formal looking and I feel like my dress is fancy enough. Plus all of my bridesmaids are wearing their hair down for more of a beachy/bohemian feel.
There are a few things I am changing from this photo. 1) I am totally not doing a middle part, I look horrible with a middle part, it really does nothing for me! 2) I am not sure if the back will look as messy. I am not sure, should I have curls in the back on the nape or not!?!? The other question is should I lighten my hair for the wedding or darken it. Right now I have medium brown color hair, so, I could go lighten it if I wanted to. My FH really likes me with dark hair though, but in saying that he loves my hair the way it was when we first met! It had a pixie cut, so I think it was probably 2 inches long if that! Umm what do you guys think, should you play it safe with hair color before your wedding???? |

Flowers
The first bouquet is mine and my bridesmaids will have gerber daises. Originally I just wanted two different types of flowers but then I fell in love with my bouquet! Goes perfect with my blue and orange theme!

Wedding Hair Style
One more time!
Okay,
I already had one hair trial and I was not sold! It was nice, but I wasn't overly happy with it! So, this is going to be second attempt! I also ordered this flower (second picture) off Etsy.com. Even if I don't wear it for the wedding, I love it! Look under mandizzle, she has so many cute flowers, for cheap!!! However, I hate ordering things online just for the fact you never know what you are really getting! Let's hope its amazing!!! |

Family
Why?
When it comes to family, I don't know about you but I wish they would just disappear. Two months before my wedding, SURPRISE!! My brother and his girlfriend out of the blue decide to get married. Now, if they were engaged for along time maybe I could understand. However, they were never engaged and the decide a month ago why not!!! WELL HELLO!!!! Maybe because this was suppose to be my year!!!! I am happy for my brother but at the same time can't help but feel hurt!

Bridesmaids
Blue, Blue, Blue
It's not my favorite color, but it is the color of Stephen's tartan. However, in saying that I love the dresses the gals have picked out!
I didn't want to pick out their dresses because 1)personal I wanted them to shine with something they loved and 2) 3 of them are out of province! I loved the idea of not all wearing the same color blue. Original I was going to pull a Carrie Bradshaw and get each girl to wear one color (blue, red, and black) but that wasn't going to work because I had one extra girl and one extra grooms lady! How I love Sex And The City! |

My Dress
I finial found a picture of my dress!!! I am very surprised because I have already seen two people who had the exact same dress!!! It's either I have amazing taste or I am out of date with what is in?!
Does anyone ever second guess their dress? I mean it has been awhile since I have tried it really on (January and for a second a week ago to get it altered), maybe that is normal?! I do think its gorgeous, probably just need to see it altered to moi! Still can't believe I am getting married! |

I love my wedding shoes. The picture really does not do them justice!
I just hope my bridesmaid have has much luck as I did. I am letting each girl pick out there own shoe, and dress. With guidelines of course (no flip flops!!!) You see only one of my bridesmaids is actually in the same city as me (my sis), the rest are either in Nova Scotia or Coldlake, Alberta. Here's to praying they pick out nice shoes! God I love that shoe! Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside !!! |

Ceremony
Yeah Yeah Yeah
Stephen and I had a hard time coming up with the perfect song for the ceremony. We have final agreed after listen to the band Yeah Yeah Yeah's new CD.
They have 3 bonus tracks on the CD that are all acoutic/string versions. The song we are going with is called Hysteric. It's perfect! Now I am looking into what the song should be for when we leave the ceremony married and first dance. It's true a brides work is never done! |

The wedding bands
We are going to purchase the wedding bands this month! Very very excited!!! Although I am no sure if I want to go with the band that comes with my engagement ring. The original band has diamonds all the way around it. I am just worried it will be too much on a day to day basis. I love my engagement ring though! So perfect!!
He wants to get a gold ring, just plain. Does it matter that his is yellow gold and mine is white gold? |
