Off they go.. Invites are finally OUT!!



Well I'm a little bit more relived today. I finally got the invitations out. After all that mess with the post office and having to pay an extra 1.07 for stamps I'm a bit irritated with the whole process. But it does feel good to have them out! Starting to freak a little.. Still seems unreal I'm actually getting MARRIED.

I'm having a problem with my mail, I sent out bridal shower invites and a few people never got them. Which is really irritating because I paid a lot for the stamps and took the time to make each invitation. If I have this problem with my wedding invites I May cry. I thought you paid for postage and put a return address on the envelopes for a REASON. ugh..

anyways.. just glad to check another thing off the to do list.

I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend! I know I'll be enjoying mine, we can spend the first day of the year on the boat on Sunday and lots of family cookouts in between =) Next week I have a looot to help my mom with with the bridal shower so I'm enjoying myself while I can =)

First of all your invites look so cute with the little tropical stamps!  They go along so well with your theme!  You have such beautiful handwriting!  It is  a HUGE relief when you get them sent out that's for sure!  Invites are a lot of work to get everything all rounded up and perfect!  

I know what you mean by the stamps for the post office!  We had to pay extra for ours too!  I wasn't planning on paying just as much for the stamps as it was for the invites....very frustrating!  

I had some issues too with some people not getting their invites.  I had the same question that you did, why wouldn't the post office send it back to the return addy!!!!  You spent all of that time and it gets lost...man!  I'm just happy/lucky that I made some extra invites, so I didn't have to make them as I found out that certain people didn't receive them.  I hope you don't have any issues with your invites!  Enjoy your holiday weekend!
