Well, Today is FH 30th Birthday!!!! We had a great weekend in Austin.
One of the guys in the wedding party went with us! It was nice to get away for a couple days.

I hope all the WBC Brides are doing great! I hope everyone had a great Easter!

Things have been crazy and I havent been on here alot. My FH's Bday is coming up and he will be the BIG 30!! Woo Hoo!
For his birthday I wanted to do something different for him, so I did Pin up pics. It was sooo much fun! I have attached a collage of pics. Thats only 4 of the 54.
Also for his birthday... Im thinking a trip to Austin would be AWESOME! A nice little get away... just the 2 of us! We need some time to ourself... not only for his birthday, but to enjoy each other again! When your life is so crazy and you have a million things going on, you forget how much you love someone and you need to take some time to yourself to remember the little things!

We are very country/rustic people, we want to keep it simple but nice. With a wedding in Oct, we couldnt go wrong with these colors and the decor will go with the location PERFECT!!!!

A little bit about us

So, I know I have been blabbing about the wedding but here is a little bit about us.
Jan 7,2009 it all started out as a friendly converstaion/dance in the bar. He was a friend of a friend.Our "friend" didnt pay any attention to us that night, she ran off and did her own thing and that was fine by me. Aaron was leaving the next day to go work out of town, I didnt even know this man for 24 hours and was in awe. I didnt want him to leave.. but duty calls right. Well the next weekend he came back into town and never left. We have been together ever since. I will go ahead and say that our "friend" wasnt happy for us and is totally out of the pic.
I am 28 and have 2 kids, the 2 smaller ones. I have been married once before and that was a total flop.
Aaron will be 30 in May and has 1 child and thats the oldest girl. He has been married once as well.
We are VERY busy with the kids, so all of my wedding planning will be done around their schedules.
Im so glad that I have a man that enjoys this kind of thing as well,So I will have alot of help and input (probably more than I would like sometimes)but he really is my right hand man.
That is just a little bit about us...
Im ready to make 2 families become 1!

Im a planner!!!!

So I know I just got engaged and I said Im working on my best friends wedding... and I said once I was done with that I would start on mine but you can't help but get excited about your own.
We wont be getting married until Oct 2012... but yes I have already started planning. I have already picked my colors, the location and the decor.... just about everything.
Location- I still need to go check out the location and put my dep. down, but I know for a fact this is where I will have my wedding.
Dress - I have started looking at dresses and I have picked out more than 1 that I love but you never know until you put it on... right? I know that I want something SIMPLE. Im not a fufu kind of girl.Our wedding will be country/rustic.
My Girls - Im still working on that, kinds of depends on my dress.
The Groom and The Guys - We already know what the guys are going to wear... and no it wont be a tux!
Flower Girls and Ring Boy - They will be cute as ever!
Photographer -I havent picked or even thought about photography... this is going to be REALLY hard for us. The Groom does photography on the side and I love his work, so its going to be really hard for me to pick.
My flowers - I have picked those colors and a good friend of mine will be helping with those! Woo hoo!
DJ - Havent even thought about it.
Decor - I have printed off samples and things that I like. I have a good idea what I want.
Food - Im pretty sure I will end up with BBQ or Mexican Food.

Well thats its for now! I will keep my progress posted!

Day to Day

So today is April 5th. I have started my wedding binder, looking on line at dresses that l like and finding some dresses for the bridal party. Im still not 100% sure on colors or a date, but I will have that figured out by this weekend!

Im helping my bestfriend with her wedding that is coming up in Aug (Im very happy for her). Once we are done with her wedding, I have to start working on mine!

April 1st Engagment at the Ballpark in Arlington

I wasn’t expecting it… but looking back, I’m really surprised I didn’t catch on.
I knew we were going to opening day, I knew that we were going to hang out with Steph and Winks, and that Carissa was going to be there and that Michelle was going to come hang out for a little while. Michelle was riding with her friend Angie. (These are really good friends of mine)Well Angie was LATE... really LATE and Michelle was FREAKING OUT... she kept blowing Carissa's phone up and I was like WTH... she hasn’t called me. Well Angie finally gets there and they are on their way, well Angie drops Michelle off and goes to park. Hell I thought she was being a nice friend. So we were all standing there... and Carissa takes me camera and takes a pic of me and Michelle. Then she says go take a pic with Aaron... I was like ummm ok... well about that time he gets down... and I’m telling him "shut up... get up... shut up... get up.." and I’m like holy shit. Then I start crying and he is still talking... and I’m saying shut up... omg! And by this time EVERYONE around us was looking... he was talking and all I heard was blah blah blah... Will you... YES! :) Then he stood up hugged me, kissed me and everyone was like AWE... clap clap clap. lol. It was funny. But he was a WRECK. BIG TIME! It’s all kind of funny now.
It was a GREAT weekend!
Im a super happy bride to be! :)
