Wedding Reception
OH NO!!!!
Ok so of course one of the first things you do when you become engaged is find a reception hall. Well Rich and I went around and looked as some and we ended up at a hall that his sister got married which was Chandlelier Place in Stoney Creek. The first time I walked into the hall I feel in love with it. I love the fact that it was in our budget and yet beautiful. So we went a head and booked it. That was a big ball of stress lifted off my shoulders UNTIL........................ I was reading the newspaper a couple of months back and saw a new hall in Stoney Creek Called The Grand Olympia so I was reading about it and it turns out that the owners of the Chandelier Place sold the hall and it is now called the The Grand Olympia turns out there is a hall in Hamilton that is called the Olympia which Rich and I went to go and see and didn't like there service and what they had to offer as well as there prices, Well they are the one that bought my hall. So now it turns out that we are locked in the contract they are going to accept our depoist that we have put down but they are taking things out of our contract like our table overlays and our chair bows. So turns out the hall we didn't want we are now are with no matter what. So from the day I found out in the paper until today I have had nothing but problems with them, to the point I don't trust them. I am sending my aunts and step mom as well as my mother in law in the morning of the wedding to set up the hall becuase I can't trust them. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I can't believe this happened.

Limo
YEAH!!!!!
Well we finally booked our limo. Rich and I both work for the same fitness centre and a member of ours hooked us up with a pretty sweet deal. As you girls know anywhere you can save money it helps. So we got this sweet looking limo for 5 hours, with red carpet and 2 bottles of wine for $1,000 taxes in which I think is a pretty sweet deal. If we need it any longer then 5 hours it is an extra $75.00. Well another think off my list.

Countdown
6 more months!!
I can't wait 6 months and I will be married. Over the xmas holidays I have kind of just but all of the wedding stuff on the back burner but now I need to move into fast mode. We have a meeting with the church next week, hopefully we will get the save the dates out within the next two weeks, booked the limo yesterday and the girls dresses should be in the first week of March.

I FINALLY FOUND SOMETHING THAT I LIKE
It has taken my forever to find something that I like. I didnt want anything to big as my tarra is enough until I went into Swarovski and saw this one. I really only wanted the necklace and earrings but the bracelet just completes it.

SOMETHING SPECIAL
I MISS HER EACH AND EVERYDAY
When I first saw these I feel in love with them. This is kind of how I picked pink and brown to be my colours. We had our engagement party Oct 2007. My grandma who has always been there for me could not make it as she was sick and in a nursing home. She had called me the morning of the party and asked me if I would stop in to see her on my way to the party. I know it was killing her inside not to be able to go. So we went and she said to me to that she bought me something so I opened this big gift bag and these were in there. Everyday after that she kept talking about my wedding and telling all of the nurses about how happy she was. Well Feb 10th 2008 I bought my dress another things that my grandma could not help out at and see me in my dress as she passes away Feb 17t 2008. I know she will be in my heart on the big day.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOO 49ERS
Well Rich and I are pretty big football fans. Rich played for Penn State. It was a pretty big time not only for Rich but also for the City of Hamilton. Having been given a football scholarship right out of highschool to go down and play for PennState. Well Rich has always been a San Fran 49ers Fan and I have been a New England (YES I KNOW I GET BUGGED ALOT ABOUT IT) So I thought it would be nice to have something that Rich likes for once in the wedding since everything else has been what I wanted. So there is a lady on ebay that makes different types of Garters. I wanted to get a Penn State one but when I got taking to Rich he doesn't really like Penn State he would rather have Michagain. Well I went back on ebay to look for a Michagain and could find one. So I went a head and ordered the 49ers. The things I do for Rich, since I really wanted to order the new england ones.

CAKE CUTTING SET
I FOUND IT FINALLY
I had seen this cake cutting set in a bride mag but once again it was from the states. I went on the company website and for shipping they wanted double the money just to ship it. So I kind of left it and thought maybe I would find something different I still had a ton of time. Then Mothers Day I was in a Carlton Cards in the mall and I ran right into it on the back wall it totally made my day and it was even cheaper then the one in the states.
