Wishing jar complete
I kept changing my mind on what I wanted to do for my guest book. I knew I didn't want a standard guest book but I also didn't want anything like a picture frame or something that would cost alot of money so I went to walmart at got this jar for 9 bucks. There is a top but I forgot to put it on for the picture :) The flower petals I purchased a bag of 2000 off of ebay for $7.00 so the rest will be used for the flower basket. Finally the ribbon was a buck at the dollar store. On the other side of the jar there's a nice sized bow to make it look fancy!
There will be a sign that says: Welcome! We are so glad you came, Wed love to have your sign your name. And write, perhaps a line or two By which we can remember you. Then, when our wedding day has passed, Our memories of this day will forever last For when we look at it we will see Kind words from our friends and family! |

Tying the ribbon on my kissing ball
Hey girls!
here's my first attempt at a kissing ball. While I love the ball, I must have done something wrong with the ribbon. Unfortunately it isn't shown in the picture but I wrapped the ribbon around the styrofoam ball at tied it at the top. Does anyone know how I can have the loop at the top so it doesn't look as tacky? |

Date change! Please help!
Long story short Chris and I got engaged on July 4 of 09 so when we started planning we wanted that date for 2010 but it was booked so we went with 9/5/2010. the people who had that date backed out and now I have the date I wanted!!!!!!!! 7/4/2010 however... everything I have is geared towards a fall wedding.. not a summer wedding. Please help! I need to incorporate my fall wedding ideas in my summer wedding. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
My theme is Chocolate High (India Arie... *singing* There is something about your love lol!) I would like to keep chocolate brown but would like another color to brighten it up. What goes well with brown? Also, my favors were going to be hot chocolate. Cant' do that now! Any ideas for cheap summer favors? I might go with double heart cookies with our initials. Hopefully this won't be a hard change :( I just found yellow and brown and I'm thinking they look really good together! |

Wedding Invitation
MY FH getting involved :o)
This morning we came back from a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend with my in laws (future inlaws but they are (not like) they are family and I came home to a sample pack of stationery for our wedding invites! BOY was I excited. I tore that envelope open like it had a million dollars in it. So I lay them all out on the table and ask him what he likes the best.He was all into it, looking at the different color and textures, comparing envelopes, pocketfolds, RSVP cards and all that stuff! I was so proud of him. He picked all the colors out on his own. When everything is said and done the finished product will look like these.

Every time I see something great I'll say I REALLY want to do that and always forget to write it down SO I'm just going to keep it here :)
~ gift bags for guests staying at the hotel (destination wedding) including maps, local entertainment and stores, a bottle of Verdi, Hershey kisses and a thank you card. ~ add a chocolate fountain to our wedding package ~find custom labels for the favors ~find a champagne fountain |

Update- I ordered this off of Ebay for $10.00! It'll be white just like in the picture and I'll put candles and yellow petals around it. So excited it was SOO cheap! I'll post pictures when I get it! |

Floating candles
The Inne provides a floating candle centerpiece for free in the package I'm getting so I'm going to make this easy on myself and go with that. In addition, I'm going to sprinkle yellow flower petals and little yellow diamond confetti on the table. I think that will be pretty :)

Arched cake tier! Finally found it
I searched for days for this discontinued cake tier. I saw it along time ago and KNEW I had to have it. Now that I'm finally getting married it was discontinued everywhere I went but I am a persistent woman so I looked and looked and looked and my hard work finally paid off! My cake tier as arrived! YAY! Talk about being excited. I'm putting a couple dancing in there and my cake will sit on top of it. The actual top of the cake will have sunflowers.

Save the Date cards
LOVE MY FAMILY
The thing about family is you may not talk to them all the time but when you need them they are always there. Thankfully, my cousin is one of the most creative people I know. (love ya cuzzo!) She was kind enough to create my save the date cards for nothing at all!! YAY... saves my money for something else :) She's also going to do my invitations. BIG savings. So she made the design and I went to Vistaprints.Com and ordered 150 for $25.00. Vistaprints is a really cool site because once you purchase from them, they always want your return business so they offered me free business cards- 150 of them so I created lodging reservation cards (second picture) since we're getting married 2 1/2 hours away from where we live. Well, once I ordered those, they offered me postcards for free to! I just had to pay 6 dollars in shipping (150 postcards!) Those are the third picture. I used them as thank you cards for the guests that are staying at the hotel overnight.

Chris is my BEST friend. I used to question how someone can say they found there soul mate. How can you really know someone is your soul mate when you've haven't been anywhere!?! It just so happens your soulmate is in the same town as you? That was before I met my FH. I don't know how two people so right for each other just so happened to be in the same town... I just know for sure that we were. Chris and I are getting married at the Inne of the Abingtons in Dalton, PA. It's right past the poconos. The Inne is a tiny little place with a pavillion overlooking the mountains. As soon as I saw it I fell in love. It's not overly elegant but it's not a backyard wedding. It's just what I wanted. We are going with chocolate brown and gold or champagne for our colors. I have 3 bridesmaids, a matron of honor, a flower girl and my little cousin (female) will carry the ring bearer pillow . We have about 100-120 guests.
