Wedding Invitation
DIY - Question?

I came across this invitation on Pinterest, also known as Heaven. I love how simple it is. There are some changes I would make, like getting rid of the lace and instead of the pumpkin at the top, I would either add our thumbprints forming a heart or even just move the wording up so there didn't need to be anything there.

I really want to print these myself. I have high quality printers available to me, so why couldn't I? My only issue has been finding paper like this. I've check Hobby Lobby's supply of scrapbook paper and didn't find what I was looking for.

Do any of you have suggestions as to where to find lightly textured brownish colored paper?

That's a brilliant idea! You should definitely go for it if you can get the printing done. For paper I'd check out Papyrus if you have one near you or can order online. They have all kinds of fancy paper.

Hi Kaylie :)  I'm planning a vintage/rustic wedding this fall and purple is my colour too!  Anyway, I came across these invitations on Pinterest (I'm a Pinterest addict!) and they are similar to the ones you have posted.  The info as to where to get the paper and what kind it is, is also on the link.
