Yesterday my bridesmaid and I went to the 'great bridal expo' in Boston. It was nuts! Nothing like I had expected. It was so crowded I felt claustrophobic and I didn't find it helpful in the least. My bridesmaid was slightly depressed by the whole thing and I could tell she was getting restless. So after an hour and half of entering my name into as many prizes possible we left the madness.
Today I get a call from Northeast Brides and I am seriously in SHOCK. Cannot belive this just happened! When I answer the phone she tells me "I have some good news for you" I'm thinking "oh, some nifty free jewlery!" and she says "you've won a 3 day/2 night all inclusive (may be making that up haha) vacation to 25 different locations including Peurto Rico, Las Vegas, New Orleans and others." OMG I SERIOUSLY DIED! I was jumping up and down in the middle of the library <--no joke. She asked if we had booked our honeymoon yet and I said no, but we aren't going to use this in 2 years. I want to use it now! I couldn't believe this was happening. And she also threw in $1,000 of coupons for everyday products which is AWESOME and I will most certainly be sharing those with G for all her support. I feel bad that I am not sharing the vacation with her, as she did come with me and all, but I do want to go on vacation with my baby so badly <3
I can no longer complain about a) not winning anything and b) not going on enough vacations (at least for now lol).
We have a 90 minute consulting session on Saturday to discuss the package and I'm thinking they are going to try to sell us stuff byt he way she was talking about it. Has anyone else experienced this?
Again, SO INCREDIBLY EXCITED!
Just be careful when you do go!! Me and FH didn't go b/c we had to go on the trips in 1yr and 1/2 & we haven't even set a date yet. I def will go next year though!
Congrats!! :) :) :)
and it is in fact what you are all talking about :( We are up in the air about going right now. I kind of want to out of curiousity but my fiance hates salesmen and I've read on other blogs that the presentation can take up to 3 hours!
We'll see and I'll keep you posted.
