Tossing bouquet charms are ready!!

Check another thing off my list! I decided instead of doing a regular tossing bouquet to do a fortune bouquet - I bought nine charms, and attached them to ribbon, and then I am going to have 9 mini-bouquets made with three or four flowers each. After the bouquets are made, I am going to tie one of these to each one. When I hold it, it will look like one large bouquet (I think I am going to use white roses), but when I toss it up the hope is that the nine different bouquets will separate and fly on their own ... and they're all set and ready to go! These are the charms I used:

Ring - Next to Marry
Horseshoe - Lucky in Life
Baby Rattle - Blessed with Children
Sunflower - Blossoming Relationship
Airplane - Fantastic Journeys Ahead
Heart - Will Soon Find Love
Shoes - May You Always Find the Ones that Fit!
Believe - Your Wishes Will Come True
Crown - You Will Live a Life of Leisure

I figured if I did something like this, my girls that "do NOT want to ever get married" may still want to participate - and since I will have 23 single girls at the wedding, more of them will get excited over the different "chances" they may get!

I like this - a lot :)

This is a great idea! I was wondering about the whole tossing tradition. We don't have a lot of single women at our wedding, and I think something like this is the perfect alternative. I

Awesome idea. I am actually using these charms for my bridesmaids. I am having them pull them from the cake!. My theme is fairy tale ending!. I took them to the baker and they will have both brown and turquoise ribbon

I got the charms at Hobby Lobby - and they normally only cost $1.50, but were on sale for 50% off ... so way cheap!

Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics and WalMart sell them too ...

Great idea!

BashfulBride - The blue circles are cardstock - I used Microsoft Word, made circles, and then did another smaller circle inside.  After that, I put a pattern on the "ring" and cut them out after printing them. Then I hole-punched them and strung the charms and ribbon through.
