So excited! Once I started on 1 project yesterday, it was just full steam ahead with mock-ups and trying to figure out exactly how I wanted things to come together.
Patrick and I decided we wanted to go eco-friendly for our wedding toss after the ceremony as we leave the park. We decided ecofetti in our wedding colors would be the best way to go, and the most cost effective.. (100 large scoop bag is only $20)

anyhoo- I decided to stay with modern vintage theme and create cones to hold the ecofetti AND decorate the chairs for guests.
The Dollar Store has packs of Doilys for 24/$1...
My fave place Hobby Lobby has yards of pearls strands for $3.99
...and I used the same purple bunch of flowers from the vases in my table mock up, took them apart to use for a little sweet decoration for the cone..
I used a hot glue gun to make my cone, slipped the pearl strands through the eyelet of the doily on each side to create my handle, made a cute little knot and glued it securely, then literally pushed the flower through one of the eyelets of the doily in the front..
I plan on lining the doily with a pearlescent paper in the bottom or maybe some champagne colored gossamer to hold the ecofetti, and I'm done..
