Been so busy with work
I have not done any wedding planning.
So I just started my new job last week and I have been super busy learning my new job. By the time I get home and take care of the kids and get my self together I'm so tired I just want to get to bed. So I have not done anything else as far as planning. I took a glance at my checklist and nothing has been checked off in a while. Not to mention I have a box of projects that have been started but nothing completed. Well at least I still have several months to go so I will try to tackle some of these things this weekend. I guess I will need to get back into the swing of things for now. Not much else to say just felt like venting. Happy planning ladies.

God is Good!
Things are looking brighter.....Hallelujah!
So 2013 started off really sad and things were not looking that great but I kept going with the support of my family and almighty god. Earlier this year for those that didnt know I lost my grandmother to cancer she raised me since I was 8 years old so she was more like a mother and that was really hard. Then a week after she was buried I was laid off from my job. So things were happening one after another.
However my wonderul family and FH has had my back and I'm happy to say that after interviewing at several offices I was just presented with an offer and the best part I can work from my home! They pay is even more than my last. So I have to say god is good all the time and he never gives you more than you can handle. This Friday is starting out wonderul and I'm so blessed. |

Wedding Flowers
Prices are so high but I might have a solution!
So I have been looking for a florist to provide our wedding flowers and the prices are so high not to mention some of the florist will not even provide flowers unless you meet there minimum which is way out of our budget. Flowers are not big for me personally but I mean it's my wedding day so I would like them. I also looked at silk flowers so this might be an option but today I went to my local grocery store and stopped by there floral department. Then I met this really nice lady. She is the florist at the grocery store and said she used to work in a floral shop so she knows that florist charge much more for overhead costs. However she does not at the grocery store. She showed me her portfolio and she does a great job. Other florist charge about 175 for just my bouquet. She said that she can do mines for around 55 for my bouquet. I was pretty excited to hear that and feel that she will be my florist. I'm glad I met her today.

Still a good amount of time
But its flying by....
So there are 300 days left until my wedding day. When I saw the counter on my page this morning I guess reality hit me that it's getting a little closer. I have tons of things to do so I better get moving before the next time I see 200 or 100 days left. Exciting time but time is starting to creep on me!!!!!

I love this set
After taking a look online to find jewelry for my wedding I stumbled upon this great set via ebay. I love it and I think that it will compliment my dress it should arrive at the end of the month cant wait to see them in person.

DIY Wedding
Smores Bar
So my fiancee and I were cooking up smores last night they were sooo good. Then my FH said why dont we see if we could have smores at our wedding instead of a candy bar or dessert bar. Just something different and it would blend with our chocolate brown color. So we googled and found other brides who did this and we are now on board completely. We are so excited on thinking of ways to get this bar set up in the most efficient way.

Bridesmaids
Dresses Found
We have found the bridesmaid dresses. I found a website called weddingtonway.com where they have tons of bridesmaid dresses to look at and then when you find styles that you like you can actually order sample dresses and have them sent to your home which I loved. So on March 23rd I had lunch ready and had my girls try on the dresses at my home. We had two dresses that we really loved and we were able to pick the one. It's by Watters and it is gorgeous the picture dosent do any justice until you see it in person I love it on my girls. So they will go to a seamstress to get the proper fitiing sizes so that they can order online. Also the good part about this site is that I can track and remind my girls about ordering there dresses.
