So I found this picture while looking a celebrity weddings. I think this cake is from the wedding of Eygpt, radio VJ for WBLS in NYC. I posted a picture a while back but after finding out the draping I wanted was going to cost a grip I decided on this photo.
The layers are in fondant, however I'm doing smooth buttercream icing to save money since my cake is included within my reception costs. I purchased the cake topper ande cake brooches shown on the ribbon from Dazzle Me Elegant. I originally was going to purchase from Toppers with Glitz but really frowned upon the price; could not see myself spending $130+ for a topper.
The ribbon on the first and third tiers I purchased from Michaels and saved 50%.
The rhinestone banding and edible rhinestones I purchased from Diamond Confetti Party. I will have the cake sitting on a sliver cake stand similar to picture number 2. I love the fondant design in the picture but once again was out of budget of where I want to apply monies.
