I have come up with this poem to place by our guest/scrap book. i need to replace "story" or "memory". Any suggestions?

stop in here and say hello,
your wishes for us we want to know.
just tell us your name or a story,
as long as we have a memory.
we'll look at this beautiful book someday
and remember you were here on our special day.

Wedding Gift Registry
Feeling a little sad....

My bridal shower is next Saturday. I keep peeking at my registries and no one has bought anything! My aunt has planned this amazing party and had me pick out my gifts so I know what I am getting from her. I know it's not about material things and I am more looking forward to hanging out with all the wonderful ladies in my life. But I am wondering if this means no one is coming. No one RSVP'd so I called most people. I have 21 that have said yes and 9 that I haven't been able to talk to.

I know I am being a little selfish but I have been looking forward to this for a looooong time. It just doesn't seem to be important to anyone but my aunt and my mom.

Oh well, I'm sure it will turn out great. I am just having some crazy feelings now that it is getting closer.

Has anyone dealt with this company? FH is really frustrated that the guys have to pay $150-$200 to RENT a tux. SO I was on a mission to find the price to buy a suit. I found this site and the zoot suits we want art $140 to rent but $119 to buy. Doesn't seem right to me.

I would love feedback from anyone who has ordered, knows someone who ordered or just has an opinion. I really can't afford to waste money on anything at this point.

I have a post a ways back about my DIY table numbers. I liked them at the time but I really dislike them now. So I re-did them. These are the new ones. I like them much better!

I also had some plain Mr and Mrs taosting flutes from Hobby Lobby. My aunt found these beauties at things remembered for $30. I love them. They are a little antique-y looking for me but I still like them. She also found these keychains for the GM. They are wheels with a little tag for the initials. Now we need to have everything engraved. Only 59 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yikes

I attempted 2 times to do my own veil with no success. I got it cut, added swarovski crystals and added to the comb but it was missing something. I badly wanted a pink satin ribbon edge and I knew I couldn't do that myself. SO I broke down and customized one at victoriasweddingveils.com for $50 w/shipping. It included 30 pink crystals. Of course when I got it, I added 200 clear crystals with my Hotfix tool. I love, love, love it even though I had to spend way more than I wanted to. The pictures don't do it justice.

This is just a little of the pink I am adding to my ensemble since I couldn't find a dress that did it the way I wanted. My crinoline, shoes, corset strap and jewelry are all pink. I have also just ordered a pink bolero from the same maker of my FG dress. Hope it all comes together the way I picture it!!

I had bridals and boudoirs scheduled for this past Saturday. My crinoline was in the possesion of my little 14 year old cousin. She had her eighth grade formal on My 16 so she wore it with her dress. They live in Missouri and didn't get here until late friday so I had Saturday morning to dye it. Talk about nerve wracking! I mixed up one package of Rose Pink Rit dye. Threw it in the washer and Voila! No mess, very easy and perfect color! I love, love, love it!

When we finally got the dress from the maker in china, my 2 year old daughter refused to try it on. She said "I don like it!". So, today, I tried again. I had to bribe her with candy and I didn't get it all the way laced up and I didn't get many pictures. But hey, it's a start lol.

It is a little long so I am hoping I can find someone to hem it as it is 3 layers of different kinds of fabric. We'll see.

Ain't she a doll??? Love her <3!

Bolero
Where is a good place to find one?

I had my makeup trial yesterday and it was fantastic! I asked her to cover my tattoo's as I was having my bridals afterwards. I was not impressed. She did not have the right colors with her because she hadn't planned on doing it. However, even if the color was right, I think it would still be obvious.

So, my hope is to find a small, cheap bolero to cover them for the ceremony and pictures. Does anyone know where to find them for a good price, other than ebay? I was hoping to find a pink one but a white one will do.

Too many to choose just a few :)

We had our family/engagement pictures taken 2 weeks ago. I went today to do Bridals and Boudoir (another post ;)) and she gave me the DVD!! Yay!

There are more of our little girl than anything but she was being so stubborn. She wouldn't smile so Rachael (our photog) just kept snapping in hopes of catching one. In the process, I think she got a lot of great ones without smiles. You will also notice that our son does not appear often. Everytime we turned around he was gone lol. He is not so thrilled to be in front of a camera so he was hiding.

Also, sorry there are so many in blcak & white but I really, really love the look of them. After seeing all of the pics, I don't know if I will be wearing that dress again but oh well, they're done :).

I had to make 2 slideshows because I had more than 50 pictures lol.

If you make it through half of them you rock!
