Venue
Ceremony & Reception site
I found my venue for my ceremony & reception and best of all it has my colors in the decor. I loved this place and compared to some of the places I have viewed this is wonderful for the price and time that I get. My deposit is all paid and totally refundable up to 30days before.

Wedding Planner
Supper excited about this one!
I finally found a wedding planner I can afford. I have search high and low and I could'nt find anyone under $1400 for day of services. I found a wonderful lady that will do all this plus unlimited emails, phone calls, and a few extras for $400. Now I can be a guest on my wedding day.
Pre-Wedding *2-5 consults (one of which is a final) *checklist *communications Vendors *Site visit/walk-through/consult with On-Site Coordinator *Communications (a series of timed letters, emails and phone calls) Itineraries/Timelines *one for families with maps *one for vendors to include plans, maps, and contact info Rehearsal *Rehearsal coordination (I have not put a time limit on it, but have never gone over an hour and half. I like for everyone to be comfortable as that just makes my job easier) Wedding Ceremony *Oversee site setup and deliveries (I arrive several hours prior to the event (with staff if needed), unless specified by the rules of the venue) *Decorate (anything that is not contracted by another vendor) *Distribute flowers/bouts *Assist with Processional, Recessional, Receiving line, cues, post ceremony photographs, etc. Wedding Reception *Oversee setup of reception location *Deliver final payments (if this has not already occurred) *Supervise or perform setup of place cards, table cards, favors *Greet guests at cocktail hour and assist with seating *Cue music for events *Oversee events according to timeline *Prepare gifts/other items for transport *Oversee clean up of vendors (if needed) |

My first board
This is my first inspiration board. It pretty much captures my ideas for my colors and how I want to do the wedding attire. I think it looks good. Now to figure out what diy projects I wanna do.

Ask a Question
What should I do now?
Ok ladies my date is set. I have a possible ceremony location but I'm still looking. I have a reception site in mind however, I'm still looking around for those as well. My colors are set and I'm not changing those. What should I do now? What kinds of things did you take care of early on?? Help me out.

Hello All!
Newbie
Hey, everyone! I am a newbie on the site. I am actually already married. My husband and I have never had a wedding or celebration of any kind for our marriage. We have been together for 12yrs. Getting all the kinks worked out and finding ourselves in a deeper commitment to each other we decided next year would be a good year.
