Flowergirl Baskets
Because my wedding is in the summer, i didn't want the traditional white satin flowergirl baskets. I wanted something light and airy and didn't want to spend too much on something so small.
Again i'm a big hobby lobby discount shopper and found these baskets for 50% during Easter! I just added ribbon around the handle and basic bows on both sides. They turned out just the way i had hoped. :) |

Wedding Decoration
Reception
These are my table center pieces. I will not be having round tables at my wedding, sadly :(. The tables we will be using are 6 ft. long tables.
The first picture will be in the center on the tables. The vase will be filled with lemons with the gerber daisy accent and a bit of greenry. The 2nd and 3rd pictures of the taller vases will go on each ends of the tables, with the crystals and candle votives to accent. The last picture is apart of our last name letters (Pearman) to be placed on the cake table, instead of the (I Do). |

My Wish Tree
I love Hobby Lobby's weekly 50% off sales! I keep updated! Almost everything i bought to make the wish tree was 50% off.
Vase- $6 Beads- $4.50 Foam-$3 Branches from my back yard-$0 Spray Paint-$3 Spray Glitter-$3 Crystal Branches-$5 White Nail Polish-$0 I added the letter P to the vase with white nail polish. Other types of paint did not stay well, and scratched off. The white nail polish worked perfectly! The whole tree was a little over $20! For the wish cards i bought white business cards, punched holes in them and tied a white ribbon on them. I think it turned out very well! |

The Venue!
Wilderness Center
We are having both our wedding and the reception in the same room. We decided to go with a venue close to home. It fits our tastes perfectly! The building is beautiful! Its an elegant, log cabin feeling atmosphere. Recently the owners have done a major renovation. I love the natural wood throughout and the huge open windows that view the lake. We will share our vows in front of the open windows. ;)
The last photo is a map I created. I'm actually pretty proud of myself! We put these maps in our invitations. |

Wedding Dress
Found THE ONE - With the help of BMs!
This blog is way overdue! I ordered the dress 2 months ago but i'm still in love with it!! I finally decided to go with one from Alfred Angelo Bridal. After trying on several dresses and trying to explain the style i liked to the associate working with me (i think she was new) I FINALLY found the one i liked!! Its the perfect dress for me! I'm so excited my bridesmaids found dresses the same day, from the same place that they liked so we ordered those too! It was definitely a load off my shoulders to check off 2 items in one day! However, I'm really really worried that they wont get here in time! The expected delivery date is in June and my wedding is July 3rd! I'm just worried that it wont give me enough time to have it altered!
BTW! The dress in the photos is a size 8! I ordered a size 4 and 3 inches shorter! I cant wait to see my true measurements on!! |

WOW!!! Time moves sooo fast! I can't believe the wedding is only 64 days away!! OMG! OMG! I feel like i'm not getting things done fast enough! I haven't posted in almost 3 months... I have soo much to update on! The past months have been so super busy, I dont know how I'm keeping up. I got alot of the major things out of the way in March - (ordered the dress and bm dresses, invitations, flowers, etc..) This month i've been working on lots of small projects that are very time consuming! My mom has been such a big help! I'm so blessed to have her assistance and ideas! :)
The past couple of weeks i've become a little burned out on wedding planning! I just want to spend time with my fh and not stress about time and wedding stuff! I'm so excited because we just got a new house, but now even more stressed. This past weekend we've been busy cleaning the house and moving all of his things in (I still live with my parents until the wedding :). Buy containers for candy table and candy 2. Buy Flowergirl Dresses and shoes 3. Buy my shoes 4. Buy my jewelry and bridesmaid jewelry 5. OMG!! Order FH RING!!!! Wedding Rings And Jewelry
LOVE IT! almost as much as the H2B!!
My Fiance CANNOT keep a secret!! His hints are sooo obvious! :) My ring was on its way... and i knew it! The night he bought it, he was on a travel assignment (he is a travel nurse) out of town... so i went to see him. He told me he had already bought my Valentine's Day gift and had sent a pic of it to his sister. I told him i would just ask her what it was because she can't keep secrets either! His reply was "she probably doesn't know it's for Valentine's Day." (like i said his hints are obvious:) He had the pic of "whatever it was" on his phone and i was dieing to see it!! I begged him to tell me what it was! He refused... but gave many hints. One was that i would never ever be able to top this Valentine's Day gift ever!
Anyway to make a long story short i couldn't get it out of him.. Well that night we were laying in his hotel room watching tv and he was playing on his phone. A few minutes later i received a text message... it was the picture of my BEAUTIFUL RING!!! And a message saying "Will you be my wife, I promise to cherish you the rest of my life" :)) The way he did it was soo sweet. It's just his personality! The ring was actually getting sized but he couldn't wait to show me! :) Of course now i was dieing to wear the ring!! But it would be another 2 WEEKS before i got it! It was supposed to be in on Friday the 13th. (The day after he leaves for his next assignment.) Which means i wouldn't get it until he returned the following monday.. after Valentine's Day :( Last night before he left we went shopping for wedding things.. just a normal outting... He told me that he had to make a pit-stop before our next store.. So i went on and when we met up he had my RING!! It came in a day early!!! So even though we don't get to spend Valentine's day together i get to wear his gorgeous ring as a reminder of the AMAZING MAN i am marring. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! |

Wedding Gift Registry
Aim... Ready... SHOOT!
So I have hardly began shopping for wedding decor... even the wedding dress for that matter, yet we have already started our gift registry!! My future husband is super anxious about the gift registry! The other day we found a few things at JC Penny that we liked so we started our registry there! I think we're just both sooo excited about our lives after the wedding that we can't wait to start our home decor projects etc!

Wedding Dress
time is running out.....!
I FINALLY got to go wedding dress shopping the other day! :) (Work has sadly kept me from the planning process!) I decided to take an afternoon just to travel to various dress shops to get a taste for a style i liked. My future sister in law joined me along with her beautiful baby daughter! Basically I fell in love with the "pick-up" look! (I call it the gathered look) Anyway... the only dresses i tried on all had the same look.... which i loved... the other day. Now i'm second guessing myself! I may want a dress that flows a little more and is not soo heavy... I'm having a July wedding and summers in Oklahoma are stifling!!! I feel like time is running out and i'm going to keep changing my mind!!! I haven't had "THE ONE" feeling yet!!

The Proposal
We Knew it from Day 1!
I have met the LOVE OF MY LIFE! As cliche as that sounds, it's the honest truth. My heart could not be happier than it is when I am with him. I never thought I would ever meet anyone as caring and compasionate as Travis is not only to me, but to everyone he meets. I am blessed and thankful that I am the lucky girl that has the honor to call him "my husband." I get goosebumps thinking of our lives together and the amazing husband he will be. God put our lives on the same path this time last year. We met in the emergency room... he was my nurse... and the rest is history! :)
Basically there was not an actual "traditional" proposal. We both knew we wanted to get married to each other and that was that. I could not be happier. He is my Prince Charming, but WAY better than the fairy tale!! |
