so i ran a search on WBC for some ideas on "to do lists" and found this one. pretty detailed and i rearranged it a little to meet my needs and here it is so far:

Prepare preliminary Guest list - DONE
Church - DONE
Reception Site (hall) - DONE
Photographer/videographer - DONE
Pick decor - DONE
Book Honeymoon - DONE

Select & Ask Bridal Party - half DONE
Prepare STD guest list - DONE
Send out STDs - DONE
Select stores, make list, & register
Shop for and order Bride's Gown - DONE
Shop for and order Bridesmaids Gowns

Schedule makeup trials
Purchase tears of joy/DIY
Purchase or make ceremony programs
Schedule day of hair, makeup, and nail appts for Bride and BMs
Mail out invitations
Finalize all details with all vendors
Make or order menus
Attend gown fittings
Make sure you have something old, new, blue,
Obtain Marriage License
Set aside time to write thank you notes for shower gifts
Prepare Day-of Timeline and give a copy to each vendor along with copies of must-take photo lists, etc
Confirm all final payments, schedule, pick up times, head count, etc with all vendors
Prepare a reception box for accessories such as guest books, cameras, toasting goblets, cake toppers, etc., and
Prepare day-of emergency kit
Prepare any speeches or toasts
Place tips for each vendor in envelopes

As we all know, when planning a wedding there is a LONG list that comes along with it! I found that as time went on then my list got longer, especially as you get closer and closer to your date! In the end though, you will be able to finish everything on list and take a big sigh of relief because it turned out just the way you wanted it to:) It is such a fun and unforgettable process. Enjoy it while you still can:)

i totally agree with you & i cannot wait to see this list get shorter lol

I'm with Sugarr2518. My to do list is 3 pages long right now, I kid you not. There is just SO much to do that it's impossible to think of everything at once. I'm always adding things to my list. It's a huge accomplishment every time I cross something off the list lol now it's becoming a little overwhelming and I'm not sure where to start!

you are doing good. I know it's a long list, but you've crossed off a lot!!!!! I'm going to have to copy this list to make sure I'm doing whats needed in the future.
