Our wedding:)
So here are some professional pics. Our photographer is Stacy Borelli for The Art Bouquet (previously swank studios) and I highly recommend her. She worked really hard the whole day! I hope you girls enjoy these:)

Our wedding
Some non professional pics
Well I say non professional, but some of our friends are AMAZING photographers, but we choose to hire an outside photographer so our friends could enjoy the wedding and not be caught up with taking pictures. The more fabulous pictures were taken by Victor Soto (the rest are taken by my brother and various friends). If you live in the San Diego area I highly recommend him (he did our engagement session)!
We think our small wedding turned out pretty well. The kissing ball and the linens were wrong and our wedding coordinator forgot to put the trees and flowers around the dance floor, which made me sad. BUT, our band was fabulous, the croquet lawn was a HUGE hit and we had alot of fun! |

Guestbook
Super cute guestbook!
http://www.blurb.com/my/book/detail/701472
Check out the preview to our super fun guest book! I made it using our fun engagement pictures (taken by the ever talented Victor Soto, a wonderful photographer based in San Diego) through Blurb. I think it will be so much more fun to browse through then regular signature book! Plus I love to find ways to use our engagement photos! You can also order cheaper books using your wedding photos that make great presents for parents and grandparents! |

They are running a special of 25% off a personalized 12 pack if you order before May 10! You basically down load your own pictures, pick your favorite flavors (or match the flavors to your wedding colors), and then write a cute message to go on the back label, such as a thank you message! I LOVE THEM! I pretty much love anything personalized, especially with our engagement photos, since our photographer, Victor Soto did such an amazing job on them!! I am so glad we procrastinated and didn't order them until now, as they weren't offering 25% off before!! We are ordering: Fufu berry, Cream soda, Green Apple and Sugar Free Black Cherry. |

Shoes
Pretty in Pink
So, after I finished writing my thesis, I treated myself to some online shopping.... and I found two pairs that I loved) I ordered them off of zappos.com, because they have free shipping there and free shipping back if the shoes don't work out, which I think is a really great service!!! They are both only 3 inches high, which is a very comfortable height for me. I am rather tall, and tend to tower over many of my friends if I am in shoes much higher then 3 inches. My wedding is in 47 days, and I was starting to get nervous about not having shoes, jewelery or a veil. One down, two more things to go! I sure hope the shoes fit....

To DO!
60 Day Countdown
Does your to do list stress you out?
I am not even really planning the wedding, but seeing things not checked off makes me a little sad. But my fiance has been pretty great about getting stuff done, so thanks The Happy Face List Site: check check (LOVE port royal) Minister: his BFF, so check Ordered sparklers Ordered Invites Florist (Flowers by Sue... hate her website but love her in person) Suits for Groom and Groomsmen Ties (thanks to my mom for custom making them to match the bm dresses) Honeymoon (Maui, yay!) Menu (more or less let) Lighting Music (we booked a swing band for the reception and a violinist for the ceremony) Booked places for wedding party to stay. Cake (It's in the most yummy flavor ever from a super adorable old bakery) Bridesmaid dresses (they have all ordered theirs.... I am so proud) Bride dress (get this: I am so lazy, I picked out the dress that was the coolest. Not cool as in trendy, but cool as in temperature. It is just lined Italian silk and is very airy inside. I do realize this is not the typical procedure for picking out a dress.) Not done (the sad face:( list) Notary for the license: he's in big trouble for not booking this Guest book Jewelry for Bridesmaids Jewelry for Me (I guess I should do that... I have no idea what jewlery I want though) Bridal Shoes Hair and Make-Up: appointments for Me Send out Invites (YIKES) Seating cards Order Favors Cake Topper??? hmmm. Yikes. |

Ask a Question
What are you doing with THE dress after the wedding?
Just wondering what most girls do with their wedding dresses after their weddings. What are your plans?
I have thought about donating mine to charity or preserving it. I really dont know of any more options. I have no sisters to wear it after me, and its not like I am planning on getting married again:) I do love my dress and its fabulousity. Only getting to wear it for a few hours just seems cruel. Sigh. |

Wedding Invitation
Ordered... and got a good deal on them:)
We ordered our invitations (finally... we are right at 3 months until the wedding). Originally I was going to do them myself, but when I saw how cute and inexpensive they were from Invitations by Dawn (www.invitationsbydawn.com), I got excited and knew that these were the ones I wanted:) 100 invitations for less than 2 dollars each! On top of that, they are running a 15% off deal right now!!! They charge you for all the little inserts that you might want, so I only got the invitation, envelopes and response card. To save money, I went to vistaprint.com and am having business cards printed (for FREE) with directions to the wedding site and other such information:)
Yay:) Note: The invitations came in beautifully. The paper is very heavy, and the lettering was raised, which really gives the invites an elegant effect. The vistaprint.com business cards with the directions coordinated well. I highly recommend both companies based on quality and value!!! |

To do list!
Soo many things DONE!
Ahh. My fiance and I got soo much done today! We are down in Hilton Head for my spring break. We met with the florist and finalized our flowers. She made a mock centerpiece in front of us.... it was AMAZING looking... I wish I had pictures!!
Hydrangeas, lily grass and kermit mums, with lily grass swirled in the vase will make up our centerpieces. My bouquet will be hand tied with miniature white cala lilies. The bridesmaids will be having kermit mums thrown in with white hydrangeas and a bit more greenery. We picked our our linens. They will be pink imperial stripe. They look really pretty in person. I was worried about the linens being too pink, but since our wedding will be small, the rental lady thought the linens would look great! We also met with the music people. We are having a violinist for the ceremony and a jazz/swing/beach music trio for the reception! FUN!!! Now we have to order the invitations, meet with the lighting people, pick the flavor of the cake (we are going cake tasting Wednesday!). Oh yeah! |
