So much going on....
45 days and feel the pressure coming on!!!
Dont be mad....but lately I've been trying to stay away from the website...cuz I feel pressured when I look at everyone's ideas and everything they've got done. I love everyone's ideas and what they've been doing, but it reminds me of how much more I need to do with such little time!!!
We were moving last week so I missed out on about 4 50%coupons for Michael's. Now this week, I still have a room full of boxes with stuff I dont know where to put in my new place. But who cares, that can wait and I'll just getting started on my projects. I'm almost finished with all my bridesmaids bouquets, started the tracing on my aisle runner, and gotta pick up my dress from the finished alterations tomorrow. One thing I hate about this wedding planning is that I change my mind!!!!! All the time....do any of you? OMG, its so annoying. I bought my bouquet and now I dont like it, I've done like 10 centerpiece ideas and say thats the one but then end up changing my mind! I still dont know what to do. But I'll get that all figured out soon...I just need to take my time somewhat and finally decide! There's a lot I need to do but I dont feel like listing it all. I do need to make myself a checklist and make sure I dont forget anything! I am going to Houston this weekend: Im going to my aunts to talk to bout the "guestbook" idea I have and the "wedding day coordination". In the morning, we gonna meet up with the pastor to go over the ceremony. After that Ima meet up with the hairstylist to do a hair trial! Im excited for that! Then Im super excited cuz my mom and other aunt are throwing me another bridal shower! I love the games...hopefully their planning games. If not oh well, I havent hung out with my family in a while. Then the next day is the Bridal Extravanganza!!! My cousin works at the convention center and is hooking me up with some tickets! I went to the one in Austin in January and won a Mary Kay pampering party. Thats the only reason why I want to go is to win some prizes!!! Wish me luck! Then once I get back....gotta get started on more wedding stuff!!!!! Here's some pics of how I'd like my hair and of some centerpiece ideas I like! I want to incorporate a pic of us in this somehow? Nevermind bout the hair...I'll just post pics of the hair trial and the inspirations next week. I didnt save the pics as jpeg. |

Hi WBC Brides! I am hoping someone is interested in buying this bouquet I bought in South Texas. I dont think it goes will with my dress. I bought it under pressure from my MIL when I should have just said no. So Im hoping to sell it now and Im just gonna make my own the way I like it.
It's really pretty and I think it will look best on with a dress that has no sequins(spelling?) on it. I bought it for $140 and would like to sell for the same price + shipping. Or obo. And I will do paypal. Please let me know if any red bride would be interested! |

Got our wedding bands today!!!
Mine is white gold with 1/4 ctw and 14K. His is yellow gold 10K. He's a mechanic so had to get a less pricer one....hopefully he still takes care of it. I cant wait til I can start wearing it. We will be husband and wife by then! Im sooo excited, and its only 2 months away!

Engagement Pictures
Got lots of preparing to do before next Wednesday!
Im super excited to do the pictures! My friend's dad is a photographer here in the Austin area. I originally asked if she could borrow his camera and take pics of us (she helps him out on the weekends for various events). But her dad said that he'll do the honors, and she will pay for the frame (for our entrance pic) and place the rest on a cd for us! That's gonna be her wedding gift to us!
We are going to take the pictures at the Capitol in Austin, Tx. That's where we were both born and raised. Well, we actually grew up in a lil town 15 miles north of Austin... We originally wanted to take them at a botannical garden that Austin has, but they charge the photographer $50....so that's out of the question! So Sunday, Im going to pick out my shirt. I already got the jeans and wedges that I want to wear, just gotta find a cute, nice black shirt. Monday, Ima color and trim my hair after work. Tuesday, Im getting a facial: "Therefore, it polishes and renews your skin. In other works, microdermabrasion can rejuvenate your skin by removing the dull, lifeless, sun-damaged epidermis and stimulate the production of new skin cells and collagen. " Wednesday, after work Im going to the same place as the facial to get my makeup done. They use minerals and vitamins in their makeup. The last two parts are from a package I received for only paying $50 to a spa place. It includes a facial (they want me to upgrade), one treatment of laser hair removal (would have to pay more for the other treatments), makeup application, mircodermabrasion, and something else I forgot. Its pretty neat! Anyways...super excited! You think it'd be cool for both of us to wear black nice shirts, with nice jeans, and nice shoes? |

Rent one decorated or buy one and decorate myself?
So I have a choice and do not know what to choose..I can buy one at Michael's with a coupon and pay a lil less than $30 and have to find time to decorate myself. Or I can rent one that is HEART-SHAPED and will decorated by someone else for total of $55.
This is how he decorated it and he said he could add more, but I told him I wanted lights! First question, is it hard to decorate myself? 2nd, how can we add more? Your input will be greatly appreciated! Soooo many details and stuff to get done! I only have 2 months...yikes! |

Wedding Invitation
Got mine in...and finished assembled most of them
Here are my invites! Got them from American Wedding. They came with a brown sheer ribbon, but I decided to buy red satin ribbon instead and I love them! What yall think?
I just gotta finalize the hotel information and place them in the invites...call couple more guests for their addresses...buy stamps and then get them sent out hopefully by this weekend! I think I ordered way too many invitations!!!! I ordered 250! Our guests list is 400 and for some reason I didnt count how many needed invites until after I ordered them! I probably should have only ordered 150-200...but oh well, what can you do now? Then in the next couple of weeks I gotta finish my BMs bouquets, do the monogram on my aisle runner, and work on my card box! I also gotta finish buying all the stuff for my centerpieces so I wont have to worry about buying it later. Luckily they have a 30% sale on the flowers im using for the centerpieces at Michael's...super excited! And I got 3 more 40% off coupons that I can use for my red gems! |

How much you spending on centerpieces?
So I want to go with this centerpiece. I'm gonna have 50 tables for 400 guests. This centerpiece is gonna cost me around $7!!!
Is that a lot? Or not that much? My fiance's family are telling me that's a lot...and they're making me feel guilty. But I figured that I'm saving everywhere else. So I think I can spend this much on a centerpiece. I'm gonna try to use as much coupons from Michael's as I can. Like the red gems are usually $6.99 for a 3lb and I got about 6 -40% off coupons that will bring them down to $4.19 for each bags of 6. The flowers are each $1.99 and I wanna look for a 20% off coupon on all items purchased. And the only thing that is killing me is the mirrors. They are 8" for $3 each! Should I go for a smaller size? Would that look okay? Plus I really like it...but unless there is another way to make this cheaper and look just as good..I'll do it. Can you give me advice on how to make this cheaper? I am going to take out the small votive inside the vase. Looking online for centerpiece ideas is kinda hard....they dont show the picture all that good. Help me please!!!! |

Centerpieces and really need your opinion!!!
I hope Im not posting this too late to where I wont get much opinions. But here are about 5 centerpieces that we have thought of. I put two pics of each centerpiece. Please tell me what you think and help me decide!!!!
We will definitely use the heart shaped with the flower. We have 50 tables, so 25 of the heartshaped and 25 of ....... Please post your comments and opinions....I am open to anything and dont get my feelings hurt! Thanks ya! |

Coupons from Michael's!!!
Have to wait until next week to use the 40% coupons
So first I went to Michael's this past Sunday to buy a couple of things. Then at the register...I got a 40% coupon off any one reg price item. So I went back on Tuesday to buy my aisle runner, pre-lit wedding arch, and a couple of other little items. The aisle runner and arch were on sale for 25% off, but I wanted to use my 40% off coupon on the arch. But the coupon doesn't go into effect until THIS SUNDAY the 21st. So I asked her to take it off. So I paid for the aisle runner and the the other little stuff. She gave me ANOTHER 40% off coupon for starting next week.
Then I walked out...I started to think....I wanted to get started on my monogram on my aisle runner....we going to the ceremony place this weekend and wanted to try it out, BUT I would love to buy the aisle runner for a cheaper price if I could. I couldn't think of anything else that I could use the 2nd coupon for. So I turned back around...and got my money back for the aisle runner....Ima get it next week. Then what does she give me again...another 40% off coupon starting next week. So now I have 3 coupons that I could use on 3 items!!!! I know Ima use one for the aisle runner, one for the arch, and the third one....dont know yet...but I'll find something!!!!! Super excited!!!! |
