So you know what I find funny? Is that by the time I made it to your post, there were already 4 views, & NO COMMENTS! Isn't this what you're trying to get rid of? I see nothing but positivity behind you posting this & WOW. It's something else.

But, I think that this is a GREAT idea, & I know that the brides you've "crowned" today will be touched nonetheless. I am happy that something good has come out of something 'negative' here. Please don't stop blogging! You're an inspiration, & now I'm off to check the other ladies out!! COngrats ladies!

I think this is an awesome idea, and I'm honored to be on your list. I really wish WBC had a different system, since the front page only lists brand new brides, and the most popular brides. There are ladies with awesome ideas in the middle that I don't even know exist! I'm definitely favoriting this post to see who is listed next!!

Thanks ladies. EVERYONE on this blog should feel important & that their ideas are appreciated, whether other ppl use the ideas or not. AND Shawnamarie, you're exactly right! Girl, I love being on the front screen, lol, BUT there are way too many brides here who equally contribute & deserve to be seen. I wish that I could redesign the format of the blog so that ppl could better see everyone, lol!

Its very nice for you to post this. I think some brides should be recognized out there. Some brides get more feedback than others and I know we all love a little pat on the back now and then! Thanks girl for keeping a watchful eye out! I will check out these blogs just to show support and hopefully we all can start the trend back up about posting comments. Good thinking!

So I'm pretty new to this website, and have to say I love wonderful ideas that everyone comes up with, not only with their weddings but in the ways that create camaraderie. This website is truly unlike any others!! I think this showcase is a wonderful idea! On a side note, which I hope isn't taken the wrong way, would there be any way to provide a link on the brides screen name that would take you directly to their homepage? Just a thought!

This is such a great idea, very crerative. i am back and I do try to post on as many blogs as I can. i don't have as much time as I had in the past as my job do not give us internet access. But I do try to contribute since I have been back these past few days.

ladies you have to remember...when you post and come back to read what others wrote that also counts as a visit so the comment and visit count will not always be the same

but the commenting has gone down a lot

Thank you for posting this. When I started here, I thought there was something wrong with me. I've been posting for over a month now and none my posts have more than 9 comments, but I just chalked it up as no one liking it and I was fine with that.

It's good to know that there are GENUINE brides on here that appreciate how it should be done and understand when it doesn't happen that way.

Way to kick things off girl!

I think this is a great idea. I must admit that I am one of the brides who sometimes looks and doesn't comment, only because I feel like I was repeating the same thing as other brides but now I am going to step it up I am going to comment even if I say ditto. LOL

I think this is a great idea gratefulbride!! Hopefully it will help boost comments and advice around WBC!! I feel accountable too for the lack of comments. I used to be on here ALL the time, but now that I'm married I just haven't come back on here as often. I will definitely try to get on here more often and leave advice and feedback for all the future brides-to-be!!

And it dosen't matter whether they're getting married or already married. As long as they have an active account that we can view, I will show them off!

This is a great idea! I'm already married now but I still LOVE to see a beautiful wedding come together. Some of the brides here were my inspiration and it was so much fun leading up to my big day which was 07/18/09. I have posted pics...fell free to comment :-)

i wish there was a section for brides of the day... that would be so nice... yes we have a section for most comments, but like u said some of the ideas get missed bc they are posted on at certain times and they get missed...

For starters I would like to say thank you for having me on one of your 1st top 5 brides and for the "She & her fiance are picture perfect" lol. I have to say that I love this site and I try to post a comment to the other brides as much as I can and this is such a good idea. Once again thank you.

Thats sooo nice of you to take time out of your day to give extra credit and boost moral on here. I must say I get pretty down when i see no comments on something that i was soooo excited to share with everyone.
