A little Inspiration

I'm in the mood for my double D's....Damask & Diamonds! :) This pic is my inspiration for the reception table. We have the option to do round or rectangular. All this time, I've been wanting round, but I dont think that will work well with a runner, which I would like to have. The damask runner will definitely be made, since that's pretty easy for me to do (plus it's cheaper). Candles & crystals will be plentiful. If we do opt for round tables, I will try to incorporate the runners on the cake table or the coffee station, etc...

I really love the Damask style too! I also want round tables and was considering purchasing the same fabric and cutting out large squares that slightly over hang the table surface to place over a solid black, white, or green normal circular table linen. That's just an idea if you want to keep the round tables!

Oh, the colors were very beautiful and creative. Good job.

My mom and I are going to TRY to do something like that for the bridal party table. we'll see about getting the damask fabric though.....

how much do you think it will end up costing you per runner?

This same picture is the insipration for my wedding! I'm doing blue, though, like you (future hubby "doesn't like" green ... :::sigh:::).

I agree about the table runner and a rectangular or square table. It seems like it would be akward on a round one.
