Futuresturgeon's Photobook
::30% + free shipping::
I had made a photobook on shutterfly the week after the wedding. It was something I said I wouldn't rush to do, but it was so much fun to create, and I had it done within 24 hours. I was hoping they had some sort of deal, but they didn't at that time. Well a couple weeks have gone by and I just remembered, I NEVER ORDERED IT! So i hop on shutterfly and lucky me, 30% off photobooks, plus free shipping for orders more than $30. Score! It only cost me $62 total! Much better than the several hundred dollars it would have cost me through my (even reasonable) photog.

I have attached a link if anyone care to see

Inspiration Blog
::Rainbow::
So it has almost been a month since I became a Mrs, and it sure is nice to enjoy the summer and not obsess over all the wedding details. Although I am not checking this site nearly as much I still get on here and there. I came across this blog site and thought it may be interesting and helpful to some of you ladies.
This rainbow wedding is so awesome. It has so many different things going on, yet it flows. It's easy to get caught up on making everything matchy matchy, but this bride did an amazing job of making her wedding unique.

Thank You Parasol
::cheap version::
I loved the idea of the thank you parasol, but didn't want the time consuming task of painting it on myself nor did I feel like paying for someone else's time to do the task for me either. So I just did a quick photoshop text and I think it turned out just as well. This way we were also to use it as a prop and not see the writing coming through either.

I got the white parasol for $5.99 from Hobby Lobby. I suppose I could've used a 40% off coupon and even saved a couple more bucks, but still not bad.

::Recap 2::
My photographer added some more pictures to her facebook and tagged me last night. So exciting! I love how instantaneous FB can be! My cousin also added some pictures the photoshare website I created.

Some of you may have missed my first post wedding post. Once I started, I didn't have time to finish it, so I closed out but it still ended up creating a blank post. Anyways, I edited that one instead of creating a new one. So those just checking out new posts probably didn't see all my stuff. Just an FYI if anyone wishes to see recap 1 :)

I'm MARRIED!!
::The Recap::
I am no longer a futuresturgeon, I am now officially Mrs. Sturgeon!!
And it feels great! It's kinda of crazy because even though we've been together for 10 years, have 2 children, and live together.....there is something different. It's like I'm in a post-marital euphoria!! <3

So I'd like to give a the good, the bad, and the ugly......but I really feel like it was all good!! (again that might be the post-marital euphoria! lol)

The morning started with my maid of honor and I getting our hair done @ 10:00. The hairstylist put my hair in velcro rollers to help with some volume and got started on my maid of honors. I had her do an updo with lots of curls and just kinda big, a style I just love. It looked amazing! I had gone into this salon thinking I was having an elegant "poof" in the front with an updo to the side with neat tucked in curls, just like I had for my hair trial.........but......once I saw my MOH's hair, I just had to have it big like that too! I'm glad I did, I loved it.

Then it was back to my house where we did our makeup. BTW, shout out for E.L.F makeup. I was dancing and hot all night, could've sworn my face was all oily, and it totally wasn't! I used the mineral makeup and also the booster powder, amazing stuff! (and way cheap!)

The photographer was getting pics of the dress hanging and things and I asked her if she ever did any bodouir shoots. She said they were starting to get into that and suggested if I wanted we could do some now. I got so stinking excited. I was thinking - maybe I would schedule a shoot, give it to him for the 1 year anny --- but hello, why not do it when I'm already all dolled up! It was so much fun. My friend had gotten me the light blue victoria secret undies that say "just married" on the butt so I had those on and my veil for the pics.

If you guys remember me saying the then FH had arranged a surprise transportation for me, well when I walked out of my bedroom from getting dressed.....I looked out our big front window and there it was, 2 big horses and the cinderalla carriage!!! I jumped up and down and started crying!!! It was so awesome. He had been at the hotel getting ready but had come by to drop our son off so he could ride with me too, and while I was still getting dressed my hubby was able to see it pull up to the house, and he got teary eyed himself, he said it was just like a fairytale.. :)

The ceremony was great. Everything went as planned. Everyone couldn't get over all of the DIY projects I had done. Which totally made them all worth it. I cannot imagine having rented all centerpieces and everything else, it just wouldn't have left such a memorable experience. My daughter (20months) was very clingy and only wanted me to hold her. Of course my family did try and keep her occupied elsewhere, but I did end up holding her quite a bit and my arms were so sore! My sister-in-law took both of our kids to their house for the night around 9 to stay for the night. And then we got our party on!!

Since we aren't going on an official honeymoon, we did stay in a hotel that night. The hubby had a dozen roses for me in the room. Along with rose petals on the floor to the bed and rose petals into a heart on the bed. So romantic <3
My photographer ended up getting 8 pics up that night. I was so excited to wake up the next morning and was able to see some great shots! I've included a few and will get more up once they are done.

It really was just a fantastic day, everything I could have wanted for my wedding day. I really hope each and every one of you have a just as amazing experience. This website gave me so many great ideas and anytime I hear about a new bride I suggest this site!

So if anyone has any questions or is interested in anything you may have seen in my blogs let me know!!

Signing Off
::Tomorrow is my day!!::
I am signing off!! The day is finally {almost} here!! My FH and my parents are taking table and chairs to the hall now and I am here with the kiddos getting all of our outfits ready for tomorrow. Once they get back I will go to get my nails done, can't wait!

Unfortunately we are ALL (FH, our 4 year old, 1 year old, and myself) are battling a cold. Talk about timing!! We have been well all winter long!

Well thank you all for your support. I wish we could all attend each others weddings. I know we would all notice all of the hard work and DIY projects! :)

I cannot wait for all of our out of town guests come in tonight and then will be decorating and turning my vision into a reality!!!

See you on the other side ladies!!!!

Ask a Question
Bride and Groom Holding Frame?
I am trying to find pictures to show my photographer of the bride and groom holding a empty frame. Hopefully some of you know what I am talking about and an lead in me in the right direction! I am sure she will get the idea, but it's always nice to kinda show a pic so they can better understand "the vision"

So any ideas of what to type into a search engine or if you have links to pics like this would be greatly appreciated!!!

****ahhh!!! Finally found one!****

Transportation
::A surprise from the FH!!::
I cannot wait for 1 week from now when I finally get to find out what kind of surprise my finace has planned for my transportation. I didn't plan on spending extra $$ on something like a limo or whatnot, but the FH wants to make it special and has arranged something. I am thinking it is a horse and carriage. I would be sooooooo excited if it was. He knows I'm into the "fairytale" type thing so that's why I am guessing that. I just hope it doesn't rain!
