Wedding Reception
Favor Boxes!
We are finally get some stuff done!! My Fh and I were both home today so we decided to tackle stickering the favor boxes for the reception. The one side reads "Hugs and Kisses from the Bride & Groom" because we will fill them with Hershey's Hugs and Kisses! I know I know...everyone say it together...CHEESY but they are the only candy my FH will eat so I tried to come up with something cute. I'm not very creative! Anyway, after we put the candy in (closer to the wedding of course) we will tie a ribbon around them and call em done! What do you guys think??

Wedding Hair Style
I think I'm narrowing it down...
On one of my "wedding mood" days, I decided i needed to find some hairstyles, so here you go. My hair hits a little past my shoulders so I think any of these hairstyles would work. My personal favorite is "hair4". i think it's simple yet elegant. And i think it will look really good with the hot pink hair extensions "peeping" out. What do you girls think??

Wedding Photography
We Finally took some pics.
So...yesterday we decided that we should finally take our engagement pics. It sounded like a really good idea at the time but we had some complications. First it was so humid it was crazy! I was sweating just getting out of the car. Second, my FH hurt is back at work so he couldn't move much and his creative juices flowing as a photographer. Needless to say we got some pictures taken, a few engagement and a couple family pics. I personally hate the way i look, I look so fat!!! Tomorrow I'm going back on the diet FOR SURE!!! Oh well, here some of the pics, I'll post more as I get them. Let me know what you think...

Bridesmaids
Their Dresses came in!
I went to the post office the other day and i had a note that said i needed to sign for a package. I was not expecting it to be the bridesmaids' dresses because I hadn't been notified that they were shipped but it was them!!! i rushed home and got them all out. Tied up all the backs and got them on hangers. My MOH came over the next day and tried hers on so I have some pics of her but the others haven't got to try theirs on yet. I am so happy with how they turned out! You would never know I got them off of Ebay from a dressmaker in China for $140.00 each!! Let me know what you think!!!

Wedding Invitation
FINALLY!
The FH and I really wanted to do our own invites because he is a graphic designer and it would have been just wrong to him so we spent quite a bit of money on all the stuff but i think it will be worth it. We finally got our sample together tonight. Good thing since we have to mail them out in a week!! Here they are....let me know what you think!!! I'll shoe you the finished product when we get it!
NOTE: The pink the invite is printed on is not the pink we are using. The pink we will use for the real thing is a darker metallic fuschia. Sorry the pics are fuzzy! Bad lighting. |

Wedding Cake
Narrowing our cake down
We finally found someone to do our cake!!! The woman does really good work and only charges $1 a slice!!! My FH isn't a cake fan so he really doesn't care what it tastes like as long as it looks good. i kinda feel the same way since i probably won't taste much of it anyway so we are focusing on the look and not taste. It may not be fair to the guests but my mom is paying for it so I dont want to get too crazy with it. here are some pics of our ideas though:
#1&2: Our cake topper that i absolutely love! From the front it looks completely normal but the back has the bride pinching the groom's butt! It is so me and my FH!!!! #3: His groom cake. He is a crazy golf fan even though he doesn't get to go much because of work. #4: Thiscake is how we want our cake stacked. It's totally crazy and something I've never seen! #5: It's the design that we want on the cake. Something a little more simple than the designs on #4. |

Toasting Flutes & Serving Set
I got an awesoem deal with these and I absolutely love them! They have an old fashioned feel to them that I just love. i found them at Things Remembered for 60.00 each (flutes & then serving set) but I waited a couple weeks for some reason and when i finally ordered them they were 20.00 off!! I knew I only wanted the flutes engraved because i never really understood why you would spend the money to get everything engraved with exactly the same wording. Even without getting the serving set engraved our total ended up being like 80.00 PER FLUTE plus the cost of the serving set!!! That's when I got extremely lucky and got a 20% off coupon and the total ended up being 108.00!!! i was so excited!!! Check them out!!

Wedding Dress
I Finally got it on!!!
So i haven't been on in a while. Life is crazy in Wedding World! I am working 4 different jobs to cover the event and ordering stuff whenever I can so i haven't had much time to get on here and update you guys. Sorry!
Anyways...I've lost 15 pounds in a month (yeah me!!) and when my MOH came over to try on her dress, I thought i should brave it and try mine on to see how much farther I had to go. (I tried it on when it first came in and I had like a 3 inch gap in the back.) I was so excited when we actually got it laced completely up!!!! Of course it doesn't look as good as I want it to but any weight I lose now will only make it look better. I will try to post more pics as the weight comes off! The first couple pics are of the dress and the last 3 are my jewelry and veil. I'm so excited now!! i totally had an AHA moment when i tried everything on at once....I"M REALLY GETTING MARRIED!!! |

Cabbage Soup Diet
Will it work??
So now that I lam officially freaking, I guess it's time to try to slim down and shape up. I'm trying the cabbage soup diet for the first time. It looks gross but it's suppose to help you lose 10-17 pounds in a week and what bride couldn't use that?? I'm hoping this works. If anyone wants to try it too, I have the recipe (there are different variations but I have the one from Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital.

EEEK!!! 99 days left???
i missed day 100!
OMG!!! i can't believe I have 99 days left till the BIG day! It's so hard to wrap my head around it! I'm so excited though...we have gotten alot done:
- Cake is ordered - Florist is booked (awaiting projected total) - FH ring is ordered - My dress came in (will post pics later) - bridesmaids dresses are ordered - Decorations are getting ordered Lots still left but I feel good. The biggest thing we still need is our invites!!! Crazy I know, but we still haven't ordered them! Anyone else as behind as us??? |

My wedding colors are black and hot pink! I love the combo and it's even better because my FH is going along with it! We plan on having a lot of fun and we are going to make this more like a party/celebration than huge event. We are so excited to be getting married we want everyone who joins us to be excited too!!!
