I was on a mission this weekend and went to 6 different "Dollar Tree" stores to finally get enough red roses to finish my pomanders. Whew... what a job that was.

I put them along our walk way to see what they will look like on the "day of" & to also see if my $1 shepherd hooks would hold up the weight of the pomanders.

What do you girls think?

they look so good!! did you get all your supplies for the pomanders at the dollar tree? i was thinking of having the florist do pomanders for me as pew markers, but if i can do it with dollar tree stuff then that's what i'll do!

What a girl would do for a Dollar Tree find! LOL
I do the same thing for a Dollar Tree item. There is a total of 6 Dollar Tree Stores in my driving distance. When I first started out I went driving to all 6 stores buying up their entire stock of brown flowers. Girl I even ask my OUT friends to buy flowers for me? LOL now I can't use the flowers because I've change my wedding colors. Maybe I can exchange them a Dollar Tree for another item.

Yes girl... I got all my supplies at the dollar tree. I love them but sometimes you have to got searching if you need a lot of one item.

Look fabulous! What size styrofoam ball did you use? and how many roses did it take to cover the whole thing? I definitely want to do these. Thanks! :)

Girl I did the same thing!!! I changed my colors and originally purchased white roses. I actually trading them today for my red ones. Good luck

I used the 6" Styrofoam balls from Michaels. I would go every day after work to purchase just one with my 40% off coupon. I purchased the flowers from the dollar tree store and it takes 8 punches of flowers to complete one. A little pricey B-U-T less expensive then going with your florist and you can sell them after your done as well.

Those look great!!! I'm actually really excited to hear you got them from the dollar store! I found some pink gerbera daisies and bought every one they had in the store, and will be hitting up the other stores for more.  I thought they looked really good and can we say CHEAP! So im going to make my centerpeices out of them.  Hopefully they'll come out as good as your pomanders did... How did you do that btw? I'd love to make some for my ceremony as well! Do you have a step by step version you can share??

They look amazing. Gotta love the Dollar Store! I've been collecting flowers forever now and have no where nearlly enough.
Could you please tell me how large are they completed? I've been looking for 4" balls I've heard they can be bought at the $ store also but, I can't find them there. I'm hoping not to have to pay more for them. Looking forward to seeing more pictures.
