So the next step is to find a DJ. I've looked on wedding wire to try to find a good DJ in Hampton roads. I don't even know where to begin! What kind of questions do you ask to make sure you have an awesome DJ who isn't too cheesy??

Wedding Photography
The Perfect Photographer?
So our next step in the process is finding a photographer. Although we are a year away from the wedding, we want to get our engagement pictures taken this spring. We have met with two photographers so far and really liked one of them. She seemed low key and was just in our price range. We feel like we need to meet with at least one more to make sure we aren't missing anything.
Any suggestions on picking a photographer? Any Hampton Roads/Richmond wedding photographer suggestions?? |

Wedding Reception
Transportation for the guests?
So we are in the process of looking at reception sites. We already know the church we are getting married in. It is the church I am registered at and go to every week so we can not change that. The problem is all of the reception sites that we love are 25-30 minute drives from the church. It would then be another 25-30 minutes back to a close hotel.
Is this too far to expect people to drive? Is it proper etiquette to provide a shuttle for our guests to and from the church and reception site? |

country reception in a beach town?
Any Hampton roads brides out there?? We have just started looking for reception sites and it is hard! Everything around here either has late start times, is too expensive or is in a hotel. I am a country girl at heart trying to get married in a beach town. I just want a site with an indoor and outdoor area, that only books one wedding and is near hotels for my guests. Is this possible?

Where do I begin?
Me and the love of my life got engaged on 12/11/10. Both of our families do not live in Virginia so we are waiting until after the holidays to start discussing the wedding. While I am loving being engaged, I can't help but start to think about the wedding! My question is... WHERE DO I BEGIN?!
