HELP! WHO TO GIVE GIFTS TO?
I'm wondering who gets gifts at the rehearsal dinner? I know that the bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl and ring bearer get gifts, but what about the parents, grandparents as well as aunts that are helping with the food for the reception????

Ask a Question
Help?!?!?! Food on Invitation...
I really need your help on this one...
I have no idea what to put for the last line on the invite about the food at the reception... Well, I don't know which is correct. I've never wanted a full sit-down meal... I don't know why... I just never have. Our reception will start around three o'clock immediately following the ceremony and we're having finger sandwiches, light hors d'oeuvres and obviously cake. If we were having alcohol I could just put cocktail reception but we're not having any alcohol at all. I'm hesitant to just put 'reception after ceremony' because I don't want people to show up and expect a full sit-down meal and starve because they skipped lunch. A lot of people will get a clue because of the time but I'm worried about those who don't. Anyway... what should I put??? |

Do any of you ladies have ideas or suggestions for ceremony music? I still need to come up with songs for before, during and after the ceremony so any help that you could give me would be greatly appreciated... Centerpieces
Carnations? Pretty? What?
Normally I hate, hate, HATE carnations! But holy cow... these look really good! I'm considering using this exact centerpiece idea. When they're clumped together carnations don't look cheap at all! (They're only $1-$2 a bud you know!) I looked at several other examples of them all bunched up and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't just this particular arrangement.
Oh, and for any of you who are unsure about using carnations, here are a few more perks besides the cost cutting factor. They're extremely durable and won't wilt like many other flowers will after being left out for a while. Their durability makes them perfect for those flower balls you see everywhere. The other advantage is that you can actually dye them! If you have an odd color to match this would be a great solution. You just leave them out of water for 24 hours and then put them in water with food coloring. With a little experimenting you can get it just right. |
