Oh dear.. yes, it's hard to find cheap centerpieces. Depends what look you are going for. Your blogs seems to suggest white/purple/silver elegance/modern? You could try 3 tall white pillar candles (varying heights) and some purple crepe paper fluffy flowers around the base? Or real flowers if you have the money. Or big white bowls with floating purple candles?

Awwww, that's horrible Furturemrsdubose. I so understand your frustrations. We were on a budget for our wedding too and I  wanted the elaborate $100.00 centerpeices out there. After a reality check of me being unemployed at the time, I had to think smart and elegant at the same time and I was HAVING A TIFFANY WEDDING THEME! LOL Talking about pressure????

I found some of my elegant pieces from the Goodwills, Thrifty stores and flea markets and spray painted everything in silver. Added some bling gems, decor rhinestones etc...I didn't even have flowers!!!  I incorporated silver, assorted sizes of picture frames with small stories about our relationship, how we met, table numbers and painted our tiffany boxes myself for the centerpieces and lots of candles from the dollar store. It turned out being about $10.00 a table of centerpiece decor including square mirrors in the center. I've heard so many comments on that special day. How did I do it with pulling off a Tiffany & Co. theme and being unemployed?  It was the most rememberable day of my life!

Other ways of making your centerpieces in a budget way, reasonable second hand store or Goodwill glass vases with silk florals could be reasonable too, with lots and lots of candles. Your local dollar store have reasonable and assorted candles. That could be a nice setting for a tight budget too!  Good luck!

I also found another resolution to a recent posting I just did yesterday. Clear vases with water and laminated photos inside with floating candles. Take a peak?  Nice and reasonable, I would say??? Good luck!

We have the same colors,  shop at dollartree.com to get things for your center peices for a $1.00 of course they are in bulk like cases of 12, 24,48. but it is reasonable and you can really create beautiful inexpensive centerpieces that wont break the bank.
