well im pesonally a colorful person and my hubby and i have spunky personalities...but at the same time we are sophisticated.lol.
so we chose basic black and white as our base colors and decided to add four accent colors to add to small details like ribbon, invite wording, drinks, food, and little wedding details. Just so that our wedding would represent who we are...i think picking just one color is a tad over raded. have fun...its your day. =))
I originally was going to have a beach themed wedding with tiffany blue and white. I changed my mind because having a wedding on the beach was way out of my budget. I found a new place, but the beach theme no longer fit. I decided to keep the tiffany blue (because it is my favorite color) and add damask print (black and white). I chose the damask to go along with it because I've noticed that there are so many ideas and things that you can do with it!
We just wanted something different so we chose Black, white and Sangria accents. We haven't seen many people with that so that's why we liked it. If you look on my wedding invitations, those are the colors.
We initially chose our colors to go with the season so it was red, orange, brown.
Then we finally decided on our venue and went to view the place. When we saw all the lush green lawns it just screamed spring so we dropped the brown and added 2 more colors, yup we r using 4 colors. Now its red, yellow, orange and green.
I must admit i have thought of changing it to just 2 because i can't find the things i want in all four colors but FH doesn't want to change. He luvs the idea of using all 4.
