So here are our Family Pics/ Engagement Shoot that my moms friend did for us as a trial run. I must admit that he was very nice and professional, it just took forever to complete and I am not oober excited about any of the pics. Im probably not too happy because I never like pictures of myself but these didnt help.

I am confused as to what to do. My mom really wants to give him the chance to do it, and chances are they will be for free. I am considering letting him take pictures at the wedding if he wants for his portfolio and hiring someone for limited hours maybe 2 or 3 to get all of the important ones in.

That may please everyone. Hope you guys like!

Honeymoon
Honeymoon Woes!!
So I know this is pre-mature but I am really stressing about our honeymoon. My dream is to go to Europe for a week and a half, Paris, Italy, and England. Our expenses totally dont approve of it though. I am figuring that it will put us in the hole about $5-7k. I dont want to settle for anything else though, I'd rather just go no where.

We have a 2 year old, and we are planning on getting pregnant right after the wedding with our second. After he/she is born there is no way that we can take a trip like that until retirement.

I dont know what to do. I am already planning a lower budget wedding, I up putting up with my old car, and I really dont care about the debt it would cause. At teams I feel like I am being unreasonable and a tad bit Bridezilla'ish, but that is my dream.

Should I sacrifice my dream and settle for somewhere in the states such as Hawaii or Puerto Rico, or should I have the vacation I have always dreamed about while we are young enough to pay it off.

Please help!!

DIY Wedding
First DIY Project !
I completed my first DIY project!! My flower girls pomanders. I purchased the balls and ribbon ( See picture) at downtown LA the ribbon 20 yards 3.99, the ball 2.50. I got the flowers 5 to a bunch for $1 at Dollar Tree best store ever, I ran out of flowers with the first one though!! That was 6 bunches so 30 flowers wow! I have my friends on a mission to find more flowers for my other one.

I am going to mail them out with a letter folded in a scroll inviting them to be our flower girls (see picture). The wording is in a poem with a special message from us.

Soo I originally bought this adorable pair of BeBe Fuschia pink shoes for the big day a whopping $99.00. They are fun and funky but not the feel of sexy I want for the day of. Those will now be my Bacherlorette Pary Shoes!!

I posted pics of my new shoes they are Betsy Johnson's and sooo pretty!! Fuschia Pink with Pink & Purple rhinestones !! Much more wedding appropriate!! I got them for $59.99 at Marshalls!! The retail for $160.00, and my mom saw them at DSW for $159.99 and that was supposed to be a bargain, what a deal!!

I also bought my sandals to wear later in the night, all they are all blinged out. I also bought them at Marshalls of the clearance rack for $6.99, the price cant be beat and they have pink and purple stones, perfect!!

So excited!!

Thanks to KSugar526 I have some beautiful monograms to choose from for our wedding decor. They are all so great I just dont know which to use!!

KSugar526's work is so great I dont know what to do.

We will be using the Mongram for our aisle runner, sweetheart table, programs, candy bags, thank you's, and menus.

Or colors are fuschia pink and dark brown. Please help by voting.

1st Dress Fitting
Here are my cell pics of my first dress fitting to order. I was escorted by my lovely mother who took the pictures. My camera had no battery so we did it all by phone, I think they turned out decent though. I felt like a princess. Everyone in the shop including other FB's stopped to admire me, that has to be a good sign.

There is some good news, I dropped a size in dress, I am now an 8!!! I was a 10. I was warned not to gain anything though cause there is much fabric to work with once the dress is in. : ( No pressure right?

I love the birdcage veil they have $290.00, they must be out of their minds. That is a for sure DIY project!! Well let me know your thoughts lady's! The day was sooo special, cant wait to see how I feel the actual day of!

I will post better pics of hair and make-up and of the new shoes later!

Things To Come!! Tease!
Allright so much has been going on the last two weeks, I feel like we have made so much progress, yet we havent. I'm not too sure how that works but thats how it feels.

First- Out With the Old In With the New.
1. New Wedding Day Shoes & Sandals- Shoes Besty Johnson Fuschia Heels, and some clearance bling sandals from Marshalls. (My BeBe pumps will be for Bachelorette Party!!)
2. New Invitations- Returned the old ones and got better ones at Michaels with the 50% off coupon.

Things we have done.
1. We made our first trip to Dowtown Los Angeles Flower District to finalize our decor. We got all the pricing and vendors squared away, more details to come. We also got the supplies for my first DIY projects, my flower girls pomanders.
2. We finalized our caterer and rental company, all in one. More details to come here as well.
3. I ORDERED MY DRESS ,LET ME SAY IT AGAIN,I ORDERED MY DRESS. The same day I got my first make-up and hair trial and loved it, so I booked that as well. Photos to come!!

Things to do.
1. Make Pomaders and ship out to flower girls and invitation to be in wedding.
2. Order ring bearer pillow to ship to him as invitation.
3. Family engagement photoshoot.
4. Meet and decide on videographer.
5. Close escrow on new house.
6. Work on photo slide-show, as suprise to FH.
7. Order supplies for card box.
8. Make hair accessories/ flower & birdcage veil.

Needless to say a lot of good posts are coming up. This is the only picture I had readily available. Sooo excited things are moving!

This is my baby. Queen in the making. Not to be biased or anything but she may be the cutest flower girl ever!!

I posted her dress the only difference is that the botton skirt portion will be chocolate brown.

She is a very busy girl so I am just hoping she can focus to walk down the aisle.

My fiance and I have been together for five years. We were engaged February 2, 2006. Our beautiful daughter was conceived July 14, 2006 and born April 12, 2007. So our wedding was placed on hold, but now that the baby weight is gone, the wedding is on. Pink and Brown are the colors!! So excited its a family affair!!
