This is fallinlove's Chocolate Wedding!

I really miss wedding planning. it was a big part of my life for so long feel a little empty without it. I love everthing about planning weddings< so i was thinking about doing it professionally. But I have know clue where to start. Any advice ladies?

I am really beyond frustrated with my photographer! It has been 2 months since my wedding and I have not recieved anything! The picture aren't even up online yet! My package comes with editing, prints, framed photos, an online and leather album and also a cd with all pictures and copyrights. I was told that I would hear from them 3-4 weeks after the wedding and I didn't so I contacted them and they told me if would be another month, WTH! They gave me an specific date of October 29, which was last friday! I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt before I totally go off! I just really don't appreciate this type of unprofessional treatment! I am really just try to be patient because I want my picture. I wish I could just ask for a refund but I don't wnat the money I want my memories, documented!

After the ceremony we went straight into taking picture since we weren't able to take any picture before hand. Which took about an hour, but seemed like 10 mins to me. So my dj comes out to get us lined up to and ready for m him to introduce us. He was really a wonderful master of ceremonies. After taking picture my feet was killing me! I was so ready to take off them shoe. But me and my darn timeline had the first dance immediately following our grand entrance! To my surprise when i walked in, there was a packed hall. Where did all these people come from?! I paid for 120 people, sent out 60 invites, and only recieved 35 rsvps..smh. There was 150+ guest.

The first dance was really nice. My husband made me forget all about my feet hurting. We were both so nervous! But it soon faded away as we begin to dance. The first time I was able to, relax and enjoy my day. Right after the first dance I had to deal with the overflow of the guest. We had to have two other tables sat out for them.. which came to a total of 465.00..smh. The venue was also worried that they didn't have enough food to feed everyone.

Before dinner was served I was able to look around and admire all my hard work, well my vision because with all the that was going on I would not have been able to bring it all together with out my God sister. She went beyond the call of duty and made sure everything was perfect.

Right after the food was served and it was delicious. Just as I had remember a year ago. I am so glad I choose family style instead of buffet because it would have been so hectic, if all those people had to get up and walk around. Durning dinner my photographer played a slide show of the events of the days. It was awesome, so beautiful!
(so I guess I did have a little sneak peek :) , but I want more..lol)

Then the MOH's and BM gave their speeches. The bestmen were so funny, it was one of the highlights of the evening. Nest came the cake cutting, bouquet toss and garter toss, it went so fast! I think we did it all in 10 minutes! Immediately after if went straight in to party mode, dancing and drinking!

In the middle of all that me and my husband snook away outside to get a few more pictures. It was very intimate and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to see what they look like.

We dance some more and had a good time. The last song of the nite was supose to be dunn dunn by shawty lo but for some odd reason it wouldn't play...lol so we had to choose another song.

I recieved so many great compliments, and rave reviews about the wedding. They loved everything. The candy buffet was a big hit! This was the first wedding in our immediate families, so they were so pleased. My details and hardwork paid off!

All in all, it wasn't a perfect day by far. But I married the love of my life and I still get a tingly feeling thinking about it. And I would do if all over in a heartbeat! I am happy and enjoying married life. I got what I wanted the big wedding, beautiful dress and most important my Husband.

I might not have had the perfect wedding but, I'll take the perfect marrige over that any day!

I finally make in the venue and I'm ready to get married. I ask to speak with my dj to let him know about a couple changes I made to the wedding. He told me that my God sister had alredy taken care of all that. So all I had to do was walk down the aisle, which was awesome! He also let me know that it was to windy outside to use the mics, I was sad but all I could do was go with the flow.

So I'm ready to go. I tell the wedding party to start lining up. So I'm waiting and waiting and everyone is standing around like there is nothing going on. I start yelling and no one moves. I'm thinking, are they crazy why isn't anyone listening to me!? So finally here comes my MOH with bad news. She say don't panic but we forgot the flowers. I 'm like omg, ok ok ok.... I can deal with this. Then she says they sent my only sister there back to get them! I freak out, why would yall send my only sister who made it to the wedding. They tell me she has been gone for 20 minutes and should be walking through the door any minute. So as the the time passes 10 to 20 to 30 mins, I slowly lose it. while all this is going on everyone is coming and telling that it is starting to rain! I totally went off! Straight Bridzilla Moment! I scared the shit out of my vendors and the kids in the wedding. I let out all of the stress of the day right then and there! The to make matters worse, the groom is getting upset and impatient. He has been waiting at the alter for almost and hour. He almost came and got me but one of my bridesmaids stopped him. Thank God! Everyone is tellin to start the wedding without her, but i couldn't!

So finally my sister comes running in with the flowers. We start the ceremony immediately. While the wedding party is walking down. I take the time to get myself together and calm down. As I walk down the aisle I take it al in. The mood was so romantic and the music was great! I focused on just my husband. I was looking straight forward and never turned my head. I didn't see or hear anything else. I was so surprised no tears from both of us. I thought I would be so much more emotional, but I guess I had gotten it all out earlier.

So when I get to the alter the officiant starts the ceremony. He's acting all nervous and messing up the ceremony reading that i wrote. So my husband tells him to skip around and get straight to the point! I'm thinking WTF! There was a lot of meaningful stuff the needed to be said. So he goes on saying he going to do this his way,?! Then he skips the lighting of the unity candles, becasue it was to windy. I feel like he could of aleat let us try. So needlessly to say my officiant was very diappointing. The ceremony was very quick and it's kind of like a blur. I can't wait to see the video!

Ok where to start.... it feels like it's been forever. I miss this site so much! I need time to take in everything that happened ( I know a whole month!) but it was so muchstuff that happened. I was also going to wait until I recieve my professional pictures to do my wedding day details, butit's taking for ever for them to come back. I haven't even had a Sneek Peak of any of my picures from my photographer! So to say I am anxious is an understatement! I only have a few picture from 3 guest out of 150+ guest I feel like I missed so much so I reallywould have liked some more picture..but what can you do? Just wait for the professional ones. so lets get started....The good, the bad, and the ugly all in one!




So my day started with me getting up at 7:00 a.m to print programs. ( after staying up til 3 a.m.) putting together caramel apples favors..smh, I know crazy, right!! I was supose to do this the day before at my mom's job but my mom got stuck at the hairdresser.

My hair appointment was at 8 a.m., so my God sister, offered to get the programs together for me. We met my mom at her job, I drop my sister off and i'm off to my hair appointment.

While waiting outside for the stylist, my god sister calls meand says my mom told her we can't print out the programsbecause it's too late and she not supose to be doing thisbecause she can lose her job. ( and my mom says for me to call her) So I immediately get stressed! I call my mom to see what the problem is and she's asking me for all the infoso that she can make her own program template. I tell her that I already have a temp[late and it's already to go it just has to be printed. She gives me some BS about how she couldn't open it up and shes already not supose to be doing this so I say don't do it. Then she goes on asking me how to spell my husbands grandparents names, that are by the way dead! I was livid! I told her I don't want anyone deceased names in my programs,I had a memory candle made for them. She gets upset saying shes trying to help me and she know what shes doing. I mean I was in tears a hour in to my day. I have had to single handedly plan this wedding by myself , so I don't know why I expected any help now.

So my stylist arrives and to my surprise my videographer is there too waiting. This mmediately brightens my mood. I had forgot all about her, with all the drama that was going on. I get in the chair and things finally start rolling. While i was getting my hair washed one of my sisters that didn't make it sent me a beautiful text that makes me cry again. I was just a mess, so emotional. So I get a little irrated later on because she does my sister and one bridesmaids hair before mine and I'm the bride, but what ever I waited patiently. Finally it's my turn. My god sister arrives with the programs and just as I thought my mom was up to something, she added my biological father to the programs...smh Leave it up to her to mess everthing up and make one of the most important days of my life about him and her...ugh!. She knows how I feel about him. He ws never in my life and planning a wedding made it more apparent that I never had a father. She should have just respected my fellings about the situation. Shortly after I get a call from my husband telling me one of my bridesmaid will be dropping our daughters off at the hotel to get dressed, another big problem! The hotel does not allow kids, which I did not know this until I got there. Stress yet again! so one of the other stylist call the hotel and asked to speak with a manager and amazingly they are going to allow my girls to get dressed and take picture with me. Problem Solved! Then I look in the mirror and I hate my hair! It was nothing like the picture! But here is nothing I can do it is going on 1:00 p.m. if she would have strted my hair first then i would have had time to get it fixed! I have to go get my nail fixed, that broke and get make up done, get dressed and take picture before 5:00 p.m.

After getting my nail fixed, I arrived at the hotel and the photographer is already there. She was on her job as soon as I walked through the door she got right to work, snapping away. We got are make up done which by the way took forever, but was beautiful! Because I didn't like my hair, it had me regreating thaI i did not get a veil. So I sent my MOH and BM to find me one! They end up getting me a bridal head band , because couldn't find a veil on such short notice. We get dressed no it's time to head to he venue a couple of minutes shy of 5 o'clock! While waiting for my MOH to pick me up from in front of the hotel. I was able to just breathe and take it all in. It was one of the nicer better moments of the day. We weren't able to get any pictures in before the ceremony. when we arrive at the venue the doors are locked and they will not let me in! I'm standing outside banging on the door, hoping no one will see me in my gown!

I'm Back and Married!! My day was Amazing!! I have been reliving it over and over in my head for the past week! I can't believe it's over! I just wanted to post a couple of pics that were posted on FB . I don't have any of my own yet:(.... but I promise to post as soon as I recieve them and all the details of my big day!

OH my the time has come for me to say gooobye!! I had to take the time out of my busy day today to thanks and say goodbye to my WBC sisters!! This is such a bitter sweet moment. I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for being so supportive. Without you guys my wedding wouldn't be as half as nice as it is with all the inspirations and ideas you guys have shared with me! This is so surreal , I can't believe I'm getting married!!! Thanks loves for everything!!!

My first make up trail a week before the wedding...better late than never! I like Iguess! I'm not a make up person what do you guys think?

What a busy weekend. My bridal shower and bachelorette party was this past weekend and I must sya I had a blast. I love everything about it! I got so many gifts and a few surprises. My bestfriend hired me a personal server for the bridal shower and couple of naughty surprises for the bachelorette party..4 to be exact! I went out with a Bang my last days as a single women!

okay with 9 days left until my wedding I have so many different emotions!

First off the hall has pissed me off! With days left before the wedding I hall a $400.00 balance! because they fail to mention gratuity in other previous meeting or at the time of the signing the contract. They charge 20% gratuity! Which is just outrageous! But what can I do it's a week away from my wedding and I feel like I really have no choice since the wedding is so close! And then it's not even mentioned in the contract, nowhere!

Next, My mother has totally stressed me out! a week away from the wedding she wants to throw tantrums because all of her friends are invited. She hasn't helped with much of anything. I came to her 6 months ago and asked for help, because I felt overwhelmed and she told me to cut the guest list to close friends and family. So that is what I did! Now she's willing to pay for her friends to be added to the guest list, but yet I still have a balance on my hall. Instead of offering to help me pay my balance shes worried about her friends coming that weren't even invited!

And there is much, much more but I just really can't even go on, because I am getting upset!

With all the stress thats going on ,Over all I am more happy than anything to be getting married in a couple days. Everything that can go wrong has went wrong! But I am still standing and hopeful that it will all work out in the end!
