The Beginning
It's probably time that I got around to posting on this. Since I don't
really know where else to start, I'll start with pictures. Everyone likes pictures after all. First off, me and Stephen. ![]() "The ring that started it all..." ![]() My beautiful bridesmaids... I could easily describe them all as my best friends, so I'll try to refrain from using that as part of their descriptions. Mishaun, Maid of Honour ![]() Mishaun is pretty much amazing. She is one of my sorority sisters. I'm so excited that she is going to be my maid of honour! I'm actually a bridesmaid in her wedding as well, which is 17 October 2009. We even got engaged less than 48 hours apart! Danielle, Matron of Honour ![]() Danielle is one of the sweetest, nicest people you could ever meet. She is also one of my sorority sisters. Though she "hates" the matron term and I'm trying to figure something else to use in its place, I'm so honoured to be standing up in her wedding on 2 August 2008 and glad that she agreed to be in my own wedding. Ulyana, Bridesmaid ![]() Ulyana is an awesome person. We met when we worked together two years ago. She's my favourite Russian. :) I'm so excited that she will be a bridesmaid in my wedding! Groomsmen haven't all been asked yet, so I'm not including their pictures now. My beautiful niece, Olivia, who will be the flower girl. ![]() ![]() My nephew Jacob will be the ringbearer. Unfortunately, the only pictures I have of him on my computer at the moment are of him being a total goofball. That's what you get when you have a 7 year old version of my brother running around. Dress that I'm currently lusting over (Casablanca 1902) ![]() ![]() Dress that I would probably get if it wasn't so damned expensive (Pronovias Nacar) ![]() ![]() ![]() Tiara ![]() Hair/makeup inspiration ![]() Another makeup inspiration ![]() Shoes ![]() We start our location tours on Monday. We're going to a place called Big Canoe. It's really pretty and should be gorgeous in October. I think we may try to look at BlackStock Vineyards and Winery on Tuesday as well. Again, it's up in the North Georgia Mountains, so it'd be stunning in the fall. We also have an appointment to tour the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center on 22 July. It's in downtown Atlanta, so we wouldn't have the mountains, but it'd be really special to Stephen since he's a Tech alum. While I'm a diehard Auburn fan, I definitely can't slight Tech (except when we play each other... ;) ). I think that's about all I have for right now, aside from inspiration pictures. I'll save that post for another time. It's late and I need my beauty sleep... |
