Is your groom crashing your bridal shower?
My bridal shower is this Saturday!! Yay!!! It's going to be an all ladies brunch. I know that in many showers that I've been to in the past the groom will show up towards the end & 'crash' the shower, then help to transport gifts, etc...

Which one to pick?
Hey Brides!
So one of the hobbies that my groom & I have together is cooking. To reflect our love of the kitchen we have decided to name our tables after our favorite herbs & spices. Our main favor is that we will be donating to the American Cancer Society in the names of our loved ones that have passed away from Cancer. However, we wanted to do a little something extra with a tag explaining the donation. I thought it would be nice to do either a potted herb or a potted bulb. Here are the options: 1. Potted Herbs to match the table names. They will be potted in mini rustic terracotta pots with ribbon & tag. 2. Boxed tulip bulbs to be planted in the fall that continue to bloom each year. They mean 'eternal happiness' according to the website www.plantamemory.com Which idea do you like better? Thanks! I also included pictures of the inspiration for the table names |

I absolutely LOVE these!! We decided to go with 'A Ma Vie de Coer Entier' French for 'My whole heart for my whole life.' I will also incorporate this saying in English throughout the wedding details. Probably on the programs, seating chart & anywhere else I can squeeze it in.

Premarital Counseling
We're addicted!
I like the picture & want to remember to have our photographer do a photo like this so I had to come up with a post....
I am so glad that we decided to do pre-marital counseling!!! After being together for 7-years we felt like we knew each other really well, however we're finding that we still have soooo much to learn about each other & it has been a really exciting process to go through! We look forward to our monthly meetings & love it so much we never want to stop going!! LOL!! |

Here's the dress
I picked this adorable white raw silk dress from Strasburg Children. Both of the flower girls will wear this (including my cutie pie niece in the pic). The fabric is exactly the same as my gown. Both girls will either have little pomander balls or whimsical wands of flowers in greens & purples.

Wedding Cake
Got our Cake!!! Yay!
Went to the baker on Monday & picked the cake! It will be red velvet with buttercream frosting. The frosting will be white, textured to almost resemble stucco. The flowers will be white, green & a touch of the purple & fuchsia.
Can't wait to see it!!! |
