I'm back and ready to PLAN
Hey WBC ladies!

I haven't been on here in a while and I see alot has changed and alot of my favorite brides have gotten married already and moved on. I also see alot of new brides with amazing ideas and are planning fabulous weddings.

Anyways allow me to re-introduce myself. My name is Brenda aka Divabride. I was originally suppose to have my wedding last year in September but we end up postponing bc their was just too much going on with me being in Iraq, then buying a house, then some relationship adjustments with me being back from a 15 month deployment, and then we found out we were expecting (due in August). So yea just TOO MUCH going on to really have the wedding I was dreaming off. We end up going ahead and getting married on 4.25.11 at the JOP because we wanted to be married before our new baby was born. We will have our actual wedding around our 1 year anniversary for all our friends and family. No one got to see us get married it was just him and I.

Well I won't continue to ramble just wanted to say Hi as I am excited to be back to planning because my whole wedding is being revamped. NEW COLORS and NEW THEME!!!!!

BRAND NEW: Tiffany Blue Bridesmaid Dresses
I have 8 BRAND NEW Tiffany Blue bridesmaids dresses by Watters and Watters WTOO. Our wedding had to be postponed to next year 2012 but I will be changing the entire color scheme and theme. The tags are still on these dresses and they are all still in the bags. None of them have been altered or anything.

I have the following sizes

1- size 4
4-size 10
1-size 12
1-size 15 (this bridesmaid has a size 10 body but extra large breast)
1-size 22

2 junior bridesmaid dresses
size 12 and 14.

Asking $125 (Retail $235)

GLASS OR PLASTIC???
I am having a cocktail reception. Servers walking around with passed hor d'ouvres and cocktails along with an open bar. My issue is I am having a hard time deciding on glass or plastic for this. We are having a DIY bar with a licensed bartender in which he recommended plastic just like u get in a club. Now this is fine with me bc I saw these items at smartyhadaparty and party city. however, the martini glasses are EXPENSIVE for plastic. About .80 per glass if u break it down. I can buy real glass for just .20 more at the dollar store.

So I looked into renting glass and it is much cheaper at least for the martini glasses.

Is it okay to have the clear plastic for plates, and other bar cups/glasses and have real glass for the martini glasses? Or go all glass? or just skip out on having martini period? (please don't say skip the martini's bc u can't have a cocktail party without a martini..lol)

My only concern with the glass is it breaking but other than that I wouldn't have to worry about washing the glasses as my 3 servers come with 1 free bust boy who could be responsible for going around getting the empty glasses off the table, washing them, and taking them back to bar.

What do u ladies think?

HELP!!! WHERE CAN I FIND THESE VASES??
Ladies my FMIL has been looking for these vases for me for a couple weeks now and she still has not found them. Of course I saw them online but the shipping is CRAZY!!!!

Anyone seen these vases while out shopping or just know where to get them. Please help!

EXTRA LARGE MARTINI GLASSES FOR SALE!!!
Ladies,

I am selling my extra large martini glasses that I originally bought for my tiffany theme centerpieces. They are pictured to the left. They are 24 inches tall and 10 inches wide. I am asking $20 per glass not including shipping. I have 12 total. These glasses are brand new never been used. They are still in the original box and packaging they came in. Since I changed my whole wedding theme I can't think of a "WOW" centerpiece to use with them, so therefore found another centerpiece I plan to use and now need to sell these so I can purchase my others..

IF U ARE IN THE GA/SC/TN AREA PICK UP IS A BETTER AND CHEAPER OPTION!!!!

(I will also take suggestions on how to use them for a centerpiece for my new colors just incase I can't sell theme.)

I FOUND MY JEWELRY!!
Ebay is the best thing going since sliced bread! I LOVE EBAY!!! I found my jewelry to match the dress I have in mind. It is so gorgeous and definitely fits the bling/diamond portion of my wedding. I also found this tiffany blue looking bracelet. I am not quite sure it will match or flow with the necklace set since it is blue but for only $1.69...YES I SAID $1.69....I will try it anyway.

What do u ladies think?

MY BABY IS PLAYING FOOTBALL!
This has nothing to do with my wedding but I am so freaking proud of my son right now. I just received a couple of pictures from his little league football game today and WOW was all I could say with a HUGE smile on my face! He looked so serious and ready to play. Mind you my son is only 4 yrs old. My FH told me he was team captain today and got to lead the team chant: "WHAT TIME IS IT? GAME TIME!!!" He is definitely an athlete and my star player. Man I wish I was at home right now!! SIGH!

Anyways just wanted to share my joy!!!

Honeymoon
We Made a Decision!
So after going back and forth between ideas,websites, and reviews we finally decided on a place for our honeymoon. FH #1 thing was it had to be somewhere ROMANTIC!!! and my #1 thing was a beach not in the United States. So we decided we will spend 7 wonderful days at............

MAJESTIC ELEGANCE IN PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC!!!!!!!!

We are so excited. Majestic Elegance is a five star all-inclusive resort with beautiful beaches and awesome courteous staff. The rooms and resort itself are just breath taking and definitely scream romantic. FH found this resort and when he told me about it he already had his mind made up this is where we were going. He just had to convince me and he did! With their sister resort nearby and the convenience to be able to use the amenities at both, it was a no brainer! We will stay in the Elegance Club portion of the resort in an Oceanfront Suite. Can't wait!!!

I am so excited to be re-marrying the love of my life/high school sweetheart. Our wedding is actually a vow renewal but we are treating it like the first time with our (well my) dream wedding.
