1st Anniversary!
Sharing some of our special day!
Sorry I haven't been back after our wedding girls. I peep in from time to time to see how things are going. I have moved on to another site for the after wedding brides (WeddingBellTalk.com). Love it there and thank you Rhonda here at WBC for making that happen for us girls! So much has happened since then, we have bought a house after the weddings, I've gone back to school for fashion designing for wedding gowns, we've adopted two dogs from rescue. Starting next week we will be working on our first baby.
I can't believe it has been almost a year already? Reflecting back on our photos brings back so many memories. I'm so glad we had an excellent photographer, my brother in-law. He did an amazing job or us and I highly appreciate it. Love you, Jamerson! Now that our year in approaching, Jac and I are planning a cruise to St. Thomas, St. Croix, Jamaica next week! I'm so excited! Last year on our wedding day, it didn't rain! Earlier of the week it rained so hard, I was worried, but that Friday it lightened up and stopped! Even though we were married in Los Angeles, it was traveling that concerned all of us. We had to be there the week of to tie up the additional strings for our wedding and the weather was bad. With lots of praying and wishing, it was an absolute gorgeous day! After a late night with family and friends during our rehearsal dinner the night before, I woke up at 8:00 a.m. for the pedicure/spa with my wedding party. At 11:00 my hair was being done and the girls followed. As I waited for them to finish, We had Mimosas! I even had a very nice light brunch of croissants, fresh fruit medley (grapes, strawberries, cantaloupe, honey dew melon, oranges and sliced apples.) I must say, this is so helpful and will not upset your stomach! So make sure you have a lite breakfast girls! At 1:30 we were back at the hotel to finish getting ready and there was a knock at my door. My brother-in laws son came in with a letter and gift from my fiancé. I just start boo-hooing. It was so thoughtful of him to take the time out to do that for me. (sniffing) I did give him some cufflinks and a nice simple note of: We will be married into one soon, baby. I love you!" Jac gave me this 1 1/2 page letter that was so romantic and very heart touching. It really makes you feel loved and appreciated, especially after all the stresses of prepping for your wedding. Our wedding started at 5 and it was about 20 minutes late, but not bad. The ring bearers pillow was left in the suite, so after that was retrieved the wedding started. That was the groomsmen responsibility that day. LOL I tell you, when you see your handsome groom standing there, smiling ...it will send chills down your spine. I started shaking uncontrollably. When we stood next to each other then faced one another, all the chills went away. Our reception was amazing. The décor was just perfect! I cannot express how pleased we were with it! Only thing was it took a while for the meals to be served for all of our 185 guests. Something was going on with the Beef Selections and was a little delayed. Otherwise everything else went smoothly. We danced, heard speeches, cut the cake ( a little cake fight), but it was all fun! We had our brother in law do our morning after photos the next morning before departing for our honeymoon. It was amazing! I wish all of you the best in your wedding planning! I miss all of you! See you at the other site!  |

Time is ticking down and I still have so much to do. I can't hardly blog anymore. I know that WBC has been down a lot lately and I just haven't had the time to blog anymore.
17 days left and I will be Mrs. Flanory! I'm so happy that it's almost here, but it's just to fast. I can't wait for him to see me in my Marissa gown.Last month, I saw Jac and the boys in the burgandy & silver/gray vest attire with the After 5 ~ black tuxes, I am the most luckiest girl in the world! |

I've been so busy, I forgot to post my bridesmaids attire!
I've been tramendously busy with 22 days left and counting. .I can't believe how fast it's flying. I have two pages of things to do and not much time. (SREAMING). The girls had thier last fitting three weeks ago and I don't even have time to download my camera. We go and pick up the gowns this weekend. So excited! |

But no worries here, because Rhonda has just sealed our table decor for the wedding reception. I can't not express my thanks to all the beautiful things she has done for us! I posted our menus a couple weeks, but these are just BEAUTIFUL! Even thought that these are our demo shots, we will finalize our guest list on Friday! I also can't wait to show my mom and IL the email! Thank you, Rhonda! You have truly made me and Jac so happy with everything you have done for us! Wedding Flowers
Jumped on the band wagon too!
I was highly thinking about ordering the fresh petals for the wedding, but changed my mind recently. This is the better route to go for something that is going to die anyways. So, we placed our order in for silk rose petals from Ebay, along with the other brides here at WBC. I couldn't get over how much they cost at Michaels! Made me sick to my stomach.
We ordered 5,000 in burgandy, an 2,000 silvers and another 3,000 in white. I heard the peeling process is not fun, but this is saving us hundreds of dollars! |

I hae to say, she has been so wonderful with me and Jac's requests. I explained about our colors of silver, (dark rich purple) burgandy, and damask with some burgandy feathers and they turned out beautifully!
