Rehearsal Dinner Invitations
Complete!
More to my Damask themed Rehearsal Dinner!
I bought these printable invitations from Michaels. I was a little nervous that they wouldn't turn out and they scream "PRINTABLE", but they look really nice! I'm really happy with them. Since my inlaws are hosting the Rehearsal Dinner, I put "Mr. and Mrs. ______ request the pleasure of your company at the Rehearsal Dinner in honor of __________ & ___________". I also created Damask address labels and return labels using label paper and clip art. I was sure to put a card insert in that said what time the Rehearsal starts and also a card with directions to the restaurant for the Rehearsal Dinner. I love them! |

Wedding Invitations
It's like they were made for me!
These are perfect! The purple, green and pink that I have chosen as my colors are on this invitation, what are the chances?
The best part about these invitations is that they are only $164 for 100 of them. I will have to create my own R.S.V.P's, but I think that those should be fairly easy. What do you think? I found them on WeddingPaperDivas.com |

CincyBride09 is Back!!!!
Did you miss me?
Im back, baby! I know, I know...its been a few months. But in all fairness to me, I havent done much with my wedding in a few months. Yes, Im ashamed too. The truth is, my stupid dogs broke my laptop and we havent replaced it. All of my wedding goodies...pictures, ideas, EVERYTHING was gone. Luckily, my super awesome IT guy at work pulled all the files off and saved the day.
So what has been happening with my wedding? My wedding dress came in and Im in love with it. It fits well everywhere but it is a bit long. I have decided to cancel the DIY invitations and just purchase some that I fell in love with. My Bridesmaids FINALLY got their dresses ordered and they should be in by July. One of my bridesmaid got married in Jamaica the first week in March and we had a BLAST!!!! Another bridesmaid got engaged and asked me to be the Maid of Honor!!!!! How exciting! More details to come... :-) So now I'm back to all my wedding planning and mingling with all of my favorite brides. Sorry I disappeared...all is well, I'm just a busy girl. I just wanted to drop in and tell you all that you're not rid of me that easily!!! Muah ha ha ha ha!!!! Wait...only 178 days left??? Uh oh... |

Bachelorette Party
Friend's Shin-Dig was this last weekend
Wow...I've been M.I.A. for a while! I been nursing an everlasting hang over. Ouch!
My friend, Kelly's, Bachelorette Party was on Saturday and we had a BLAST! We did the X-Rated Scavenger Hunt which was a huge success! It got pretty wild...too bad we have photos of most of it. Someone hide the evidence! We started out the day with pedicures and manicures, went to lunch where we had cocktails (a little early, but come one, it's a Bachelorette Party!), went shopping then got ready for the night. We went to dinner where the Bride opened her gifts and the craziness began! From Piano Bars to riding the Bull, we rocked that town! It will be a night that she will never forget, even though I'm sure she wishes she could. Mua ha ha ha ha! Here are some of the pictures from it.... Not too much longer and she'll be a married woman. As a matter of fact, in 3 weeks I'll be in Jamaica! YAHOO! |

Flower Girl
Her Dress: Makes her a "Pitty Pincess"
This is my smallest flower girl, Alyssa. She doesn't really understand the whole "wedding" thing, but she loves her dress and wants to wear it.
Her mom (Brian's sister) came across this dress in a department store. I couldn't find anything I really liked for her. I had an Alfred Angelo dress picked out, but them I found out that they didn't carry it in her size....Grrrrrr! So I was back at square one when her mom called me to ask about this dress. It was on sale and adorable. She sent me pics via text and I loved it. So here she is, modeling her "Pitty Pincess" dress! |

Sand Ceremony
Having fun with colors
I found this photo for my friend getting married in Jamaica. They are doing a sand ceremony and wanted a way to make it fun or personal.
Even though she decided to mix sand from the beach they got engaged on and Jamaica sand, I still think this idea is cute. Sand ceremonies are becoming more and more popular...because they're just so fun. That and there's no worries about burning the church down on accident. :-) I hope this photo inspires some of you doing a sand ceremony. Isn't it so cool??? |

Doing My Own Hair
1st attempt at a side ponytail
No...not for my wedding, don't worry ladies!
My friend Kelly has requested that all her bridesmaid's do their own hair for her wedding in Jamaica...I'm a little stressed about it! We had some awesome hairstylists come and show us how to do different styles, so we've had some help. The side ponytail seems to be easiest for me...so I've made an attempt. I curled all my hair, then took a portion of the back of it and pulled it to the side with a rubber band. Then, using bobby pins, I pinned all the rest of it back and viola! What do you think? I know I need to hide the bobby pins better, but all in all, not too shabby for a first attempt. |

Mother of the Groom Gift
This one's a tear jerker
I am one of the fortunate ones...I have a fantastic mother-in-law. She is a great mom to Brian and a wonderful grandmother. She is respectful of our privacy, and I just can't seem to do any wrong in her eyes! :-)
I wanted to get her something that she could use on the wedding day and also keep forever. I came across this hanky idea and knew it was perfect. It shows my appreciation to her for being such an awesome mom and raising such an incredible son, yet it also shows her how much I love and appreciate him. There are a lot of places where you can buy this with the stitching already on there, but I think I will buy my own hanky and take it somewhere to have it embroidered....that way I have more say in the style. What do you guys think??? ***UPDATE: Here are some links to purchase this hanky: http://www.personalizedpresents.com/thank-you-for-raising-your-son-hanky.html http://www.findgift.com/gift-ideas/pid-87487/ MORE CUTE HANKY SAYINGS: ~Bride to Groom's Mother o Groom's Father- To marry your son is the dream of my life, I'll be so proud to become this man's wife. or Because of your caring he grew up to be the love of my life and a blessing to me. or My heart is so grateful for all that you've done, I'll lovingly spend my life with your son. ~Groom to Groom's Mother o Groom's Father- I don't know how to thank you for all you've given me, your guidance, love and wisdom made the man I've come to be. or Soon I will be married and I hope in life I'll be, half the person you have been and make you proud of me. or For all the years we've had and for all the years to come, I am so very proud to be the one who you call son. or The day they say to us We pronounce you man and wife Ill strive to be just like you to guide me through my life. |
