plum or tan?

Our wedding colors are eggplant purple (basically plum or royal purple), mocha (tan), and gold (Rickey loves the Lakers!!!) and i'm debating if my bridesmaid dresses should be eggplant or tan. The eggplant is the main color and I think that it would look wonderful on my bridesmaid...they are all different shades of brown. I showed my sister...which is the maid of honor..and she said the tan since the purple is sooo rich. So i don't know...auuugghhh!!!

Now the main picture are the dresses that I really like, but I don't know if it would look good with the type of wedding dress I want. But a few of my soon to be bridesmaids are very hippie (large hips) and I don't know if a fitted dress would suit them. auuugggghhhh!!!! I don't know what to doooooo!!!!!

I have time to decide on this...I am going to formally ask my bridesmaid to be in my wedding October 10th (1 year from the actual wedding). I would ask them earlier, but 2 of my friends are getting married in July & August and my other friend is having her baby in July so I want all that to be taken care of and for them to be ready when I ask them to be in my wedding...of course I am giving them the option of declining but I think 1 year from the actual wedding date is enough time to save money...i'm going to have a bridal pot...where each month they put money into an account so that they won't have to pay lump sums of money.

The last one with diff styles are BEAUTIFUL, and I think they'd compliment your bridesmaids better with the styles.  I'd go with the halter so it'd draw attention to the upper body while covering hips area.  Ur bridesmaids with larger hips would prob avoid the 1st one cuz the thin sash sitting just above the hips would make their hips look even bigger.  I actually had something totally diff in mind for my girls, but I'm loving those dresses in the last pic.  Where did u get them from?

the christina wu priv. collection...the dresses in a latte color that have the different necklines. i picked those for my bridesmaids and let them pick which ones they want. i only have 2 though so i hope it looks okay! one ordered the off the shoulder and the other wants the strapless. i wanted both to have the strapless but oh well!
