Help!

HI Cherryberry, Im also getting married on 10/20/2012 at Breezes Resort in Bahamas.  Are you having your ceremony at a resort/hotel/church/beach?  The reason why i ask is because some places would have deals if you do your ceremony and reception at the same place.    What are some of your options?

I know that me and hubby will be renewing vows at one of these destination islands, but it will be intimate...just us.

Maybe the resort can provide you with a less expensive menu as appetizers only and you guys pay for the first round of drinks?  Not knowing what you are really craving for a reception at this location...

Possibly do the Cancun thing just you and him and come home to a reception later. That's what we did on our first time around 12.5 years ago. You could do that with a reception here that is less expensive hopefully. Just a suggestion?

Hmmm it can be difficult but some options are having your wedding on any day/time other than a saturday evening, doing a brunch or cocktail reception perhaps rather then a multiple course meal

I don't know about Cancun, but I know Sandals offers some beautiful Martha Stewart weddings for a very reasonable price at all of their resorts.
