The perfect day!
Just a few more piccys from people.... there are more in my previous post... a couple better ones....
And now i can tell you a little about the wedding too..... Well it was 5pm wedding down on the beaches as you can see... but not actually on the beach! The reception hall is actually to the left of the ceramony, i think you can sort of see it, it all glass. My idea was simple and pretty. My girls wore soft buttercup yellow and each had a parasol which was decorated with my flowers. I didnt want toe girls to have bouquets, i thought this was more in touch with the setting. They did also have a small wrist posy so that when they didnt have their parasol they still had some flowers, and it was really natural looking. My bouquet was yellow gerberas, really really simple. So we got there pretty much on time, i was impressed! My dress was ivory, satin on top which dropped into chiffon for a really simple and elegant look.It had a small touch of embrodery on the sash around the waist which were little crystals. My viel had the same crystal through out it. The boys wore grey and a soft soft gold... i think they looked gorgeous! The ceramony was lovely it was really short, 20 mins but was perfect. I walked downt he aisle to " Lets stay together" by All Green. Our Pastor is an amasing man, he runs a chapel int he center of town which helps homless and drug addicts. We made a donation to his cause and this was far more rewarding than paying someone who spends there weekedns moving from wedding to wedding for the money! We had a small reading which was poem i wrote to jay and the vows were tradtional. Seeing Jay smile and meet me at the end of the aisle so far is my favourite part of the day! After it was done we signed all the certificates and appropriate bits at the signing table to the right of the ceramony, while "Im yours" by Jason Mraz was played int he back ground followed by "Sunshine" by Gabrielle. We then walked back down the aisle to "over the rainbow" by Isreal k......? ( the verson from 50 first dates) gorgeous, where a glass of champgne was waiting for each of us..... We all got to mingle for abit afterwards, then were taken off to the headlands and each for our photos. That was fun.. I cant wiat to get them back! Its so hard waiting for them.... The reception started at 6:30pm.. it was cocktail, simple and elegant, the food was delicious and the room was stunning in white and chocolate brown. The centr flowers were in yellow and white with twisted willow.. amasing and the dacne floor was a mass of yellow and white ballons with silver adn gold steamers hanging from the bottoms. Our first dance was memorable, Jason didnt know what it was, they started playing "have i told you lately" as we walked to the dance floor and embraced, then the real song kicked in.. i know it sounds strange but out of the speakers bursted "Praradise by the dashboard light " by Meatloaf........ Its a song me and jason alwasy dance to and have done kareoke too before.. he knows i love it ad he does too... so there you have it..... that preety much started things going... everyone loved it and the dance floor statyed pretty much full all night! My sisters also had a surprise for me.... as i am English a lot of my friends coudlnt make it to eh wedding and it was upsetting but what i didnt know is they had all done a video message which was played after the speaches..... it was gorgeous and brought and tear to my eye! Im so lucky ithink, i have a gorgeous wondefull husband and an amasing family! The day was perfct and the best part is nothing matters apart from those people there with you. x |

Hey... been a while so i thought i pop in and say i had an amazing day!
It was perfect.... the day was everything i wanted! and my gosh did it go fast! My one big piece of advice ladies... cherish every moment ! it goes so fast! Make sure you take a step back with your husband a parts throughout the night and just look around at everuythig and everyone .. take it all in! Its a amazing sight! SO were still waiting on the professional photos but i just thought i give you a quick look.... I didnt show much in my blog so finally youll get to see the finished product! x |

Jewelry.... costume or real?
What are you guys doing? I initially thought real because it is my wedding but when your on a budget its not that easy.. Everything is so expensive!
Im a big costume jewelry person anyway and the stuff you can get now is gorgeous........and looks stunning! SO i have bought the bridesmaid earings..... and mine... all costume jewelry, I personally dont think its worth all that money for one day really...... at least if they wear them once and thats it its not going to make a difference cos they werent that expensive! Any way i got them.. and i think they are gorgeous! Were just keeping it simple, just earings! Were not big necklace wearers and i dotn want it to be OTT..... What do you think.... they are that new gold colour, really soft almost silver........ |

Wedding Party Presents
All done.....
Thank gosh finally all done.....
SO i have been thinking about these for a while now, and its not an easy descision, there is so much out there..... For the boys as its an all kiwi affair we got them: 1. A pair of Silver Fern Socks for the day.. 2. A pair of silver fern cufflinks for the day.. 3. A small bottle of cologne And for the girls.... well this is a little more personal as they are my sisters.... I didnt want to get them something weddingy as i dont see a point in wasting money like that ... so i choose them something for the day and something i know they would each like and more importantly use later on...... For Laura i got her a couple of the Black Book guides, funky travel guides for bars, resturantes, places to go for New York and Miami. She is planning on going travelling next year so i though these would be usefull ... plus there stylish! For Rebecca i got her a selection of mineral makeup, new out and looks pretty good! She is a make up artist and loves anything new to try. And for both of them for the day they each have a small bottle of perfume. I found a gift set perfect for my wedding party of Jean Paul summer fragrences..... so they are in eash of the gorgeously designed bottles of the torsos..... Really cute..... Oh and i nearly forgot ..... My mum. She is the one walking me down the aisle.... Were a pretty close family and were all getting ready together in the morning and she will be comming with us girls ... So couldnt leave her out..... So i bought her a little something too... nothing for the wedding but something i know she will love to say thank you . |

Garter and update.....
Im back.....
Hi guys, been a while but im back and im on fire at the moment.....
Not too long to go now so im getting excited..... So whats been happening...... Got my underwear... i went the other day and decided on the corset, great for pulling me in and a whole lot sexier than bra and knickers.... Had a look on the internet for garters, and i cnat beleieve how many there are out there but anyway trying to keep to the budget went on ebay, and found this one..... gorgeous i think.. and its a perfect fit to my coulours! i was debating blue for the old.. "something blue..." but thougt this would be anicer touch and it fits in so much better with my gold shoes...... What else... oh got the bridesmaids shoes finally, what a dilema that was..... i know its probably me being fussy but i like the idea of them wearing the same style, i think it looks better! anyways all done now... and they are hot too, an i know my sisters will wear them again! Um... oh boys suits all sorted..... waistcoats and all.... and pressies...... im on a roll! Oh i have my wedding dress fitting next week so im really excited about that one! They ordered it in for me and its too big so were gonna get all the adjustments done now...and then i think i go back in a couple of weeks for a final fitting! Sorry no pictures going up of this one..... its a surprise! Music all sorted..... gotta a surprise for my man for our song, he doenst know yet , well he thinks he does and i agreed but ive found something else which has a lot more meaning for us both so that will be his treat on the day! Friends Wedding
Just got back from New Zealand
We had a great time, just got back from a mini holliday! Jason best friend was getting married and Jay was a groomsman! The day was lovely, they boys looked gorgeous and the girls stunning! The wedding colours were pink and black so the room was decorated with pink lillies like the cake, very strikingly beautiful!

Found them!
Da Daaaa...... I found some shoes......I have decided to go with gold.
My dress is ivory and im a definite gold person over silver. I dont know if any of you have the same problem, but i just cant wear strappy little shoes, they make my feet look fat as..... and fat feet give me fat legs so theres a definite no go area! I love high heels with a peeep toe, slims my feet down..... so i have found these.. and i can wear them again for sure! What do you think.?... simple with a little bit of sparkle for sexyness! I also found som gorgeous little flat flip flop types..... i thought it get these for my bridesmaids and me just incase anyone gets sore feet..... I think there gorgeous!
