Married Tomorrow!!
The day is almost here!!
This past week has been so busy that unfortunately I have neglected WBC :(
Between guests arriving and last minute details I have not had a chance to get near my computer. I am so excited and just a little nervous. I am more nervous that things won't go smoothly... But I am almost at the point that I don't have a choice! Lol A big thank you to all the WBC Brides that hav inspired me and given me so many ideas! I have met so many great people that helped me plan the perfect day! Good luck to all my fellow Sept. 4th Brides!! Not sure why it says I am getting married today on my profile.... Also, I have few projects that I have not had a chance to post so I will add them next week once the craziness dies down ;-) |

Ceremony venue frustrations!!
Not enough chairs???
So yesterday the rep from our venue called to let us know that they don't have enough chairs for everyone to sit at the ceremony.
Not enough chairs??? Did they not know this months ago? Our numbers have been set for quite a while. Why do they tell us 10 days before the wedding? I have been searching for chairs to rent. But being so close to the wedding date everything is booked! Not sure what I am supposed to do. Do I ask certain people ahead of time to stand? I am so frustrated! |

Wedding Decoration
Should I be being so picky?
Had a rough day yesterday!
The wedding is coming up so fast and there are so many details that still need to be taken care of. I have hired someone to do most of my decor for me. With 2 kids and practically all my guests coming from out of town I really wanted to cut down on my work load a little so I can enjoy the day more. But this has not cut down my stress! I have been trying to see a final mock up of my centerpieces for some time now. She didn't seem to eager to meet. So after sending her several emails she finally sent me pictures. But still says she may change a few things... so I guess it's not a final mock up? A few issues... The flowers look pink to me. Am I being a little too picky? My wedding colors are lavender and white. They dont even match the candles. Which I am not sure about either... would white be better? I am not sure about the mirror. My FH says nobody will probably even notice it and when the lights go down it will reflect the candle light. He is probably right. I like the glass garland but don't like the purple strand of beads that is woven through. Let me know what you think. Should I be asking her to find new flowers so close to the wedding? Am I expecting too much? I just figure that my wedding is only going to happen once and I want things to be perfect. I have been so stressed about this :-( |

Had the girls over last night for dinner and put them to work (-:
Completed 115 water bottles. Love them!! Wasn't so thrilled with Staples though. I used them to print the labels. It worked out to be cheaper because of the amount of coloured ink required. The labels were printed darker and smaller than the sample I gave them. I used them anyway because it is the same colour as my theme. Just a bit darker. Doubt anyone will notice except me (-; Thank you to Nidhal and jtherrie for passing along the template. It was so simple and turned out great! |

DIY Flower girl baskets
Flower girl baskets done!
Bought these baskets for .50 from Walmart after Easter. They had a green gingham lining which I took out. Just wrapped lavender ribbon around the handle and rim of the basket. I think they are sweet and am really happy with them. My only issue is... I can't tie a bow to save my life!! Is there a trick? It never looks right! 14 days!!!! |

Marriage License
Got it! One step closer!!
We picked up our marriage license on Monday!! So exciting! It is all coming together (-:
Funny story while we were there... We had tried to go on Friday to pick it up but their computer system was down. So we were chatting with the Lady who was taking all of our info so we would just have to come back and pick it up. Earlier in the day a Bride had come in to apply. In BC only one person has to be present. As long as you have all the needed information. When she found out the system was down she started freaking out that it was a sign! That she shouldn`t be getting married! Obviously there are deeper issues there and it just sent her over the edge. The Lady helping us also said that we would be totally suprised how many people come in looking for refunds on their marriage license. Obviously some are jumping in without thinking it all through. And there are no refunds ;-o 15 days!!! |

Wedding Favors
Favors done!
Finished filling my spice favor jars last night!
They look great! We went with lavender (my theme color plus I love it), peppercorns (my FH's pick) and Italian spice (I am Italian and do ALOT of cooking with it). We decided to go with spices because we love cooking and thought it was something that suited us (-: I am also going to print up some recipe ideas for our guests to use. Especially for the lavender since most have not cooked with it before. Next I have to figure out the tags... |

My family and I made a trip to Calgary recently for a bridal shower my soon to be sister in law threw me.
While we were there we did some shopping. By far my favorite find was my shoes! I LOVE them. A little bling and not too high of a heel (-: I can't wait to wear them in 16 days!! |
