Our First Dance
Hey WBC, It's been a long time, but now that I am married, with children I blog at my buddy Rhonda's website (WeddingBellTalk.com) I do drop in at time here to say hello. It's been 2 years since our special day. We have a 1 year old son now and I just found out we are having another addition coming in September!
I just wanted to update you after being happily married now. October 9, 2010 The most rememberable things I remember that night was our first dance as husband and wife. After all the planning and stresses of planning our special wedding day, the DJ announced our intro to the dancefloor, I felt my heart melt as the song began. Gregory held me close to him and guided me into a hypnotizing waltz like dance. We have danced many times before together, but this one was really special. It was like, this is my Prince finally after years of dating and we are now as one. The man I truly love and who will take me under his wings for life and protect me from everything. All eyes were on US! Then our neice/flowergirl came in and joined us. Shes our precious angel. Even though it was an Adult Only Affair, there were no other kids there , except our ring bearer who had already left for the evening. Our little angel wanted to dance too and joined us after a while. An unforgetable evening! I loved my wedding gown! I didnt want to take it off. Even when the night was over, I still didnt want to depart from it. I was in love with my gown. |

I haven't been on WBC in a mintue since I announced my pregnancy with our son last year, because I totally felt out of place here. Our wedding planning has gone and past and I always wanted somewhere else to blog about espeically being married with children. Now we finally have a married brides outlet! Ive seen others but always was sceptical on doing so because of rude people out there.
I have to say Congratulations to our Rhonda, most of you probrably know her as Rodrhonda4ever. Now she is planning her renewals as Ourrenewalsagain. She just goes on and on! To take the time out of her busy schedule and provide us an outlet for everyone and not just us married couples that is OUTSTANDING! Something besides Facebook, we now have Wedding Bell Talk! I can't believe it! This is the best news that I've seen in a long time. Someone so dedicated here, helping out with other brides, her wonderful inspirations and to create something with her adorable husband Rod is amazing. I must give it up to my girl! She helped us out tramendously during our wedding planning process and creations. Thank you Rhond for all of your help and new beginnings! Check it out and sign up girls! I can't believe it's been 9 months since I've touched bases with you guys. I do peep in and out once in a while. Married life is heavenly!!! I've been on strict bed rest with a difficult pregnancy, but it's all worth it. We have found out we are expecting a little boy on Septemeber 27! We are so happy! I must say, yes we concieved shortly after our wedding, lol. We can't wait to start the next chapter in our family. |

6 more days I am marrying my man and I'm just at an AH of excitement! We will be going to Cabo San Lucas for the honeymoon the day after, so I'm totally busy this week! I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT! With dinner rehersal, bachelorette party (tonight), meet and greet on Thursday, hairdresser on Saturday morning? Let me breathe! Please excuse me, but I have to get my praise on for my girl here at WBC! Thank you Jesus for this special person that has been placed in my life! I want to give a private and public thanks to my girl Rhonda (Rodrhonda4ever) for doing the superb work of her company Party Shakers.com and enlighting me with all the dreams that are coming true next weekend. I've purchased my bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, table signs, menus, fan programs, placecards, reserved table signs, centerpieces, linens, chaircovers, candy buffet signs, our Marquee sign for the entrance and candy buffet, bar signs, DJ- her husband, dj cards, cupcakes and even thier photographer Leo who is outstanding. THANK U SO MUCH! I have more pictures to share of my dream wedding day, but just don' t have the time to share and download on this stupid server. Sexy or not?
Our cigar rollers have been paid in full today! I'm so glad and excited this is done! I was wondering if any girls out there like smoking cigars? Personally, I have tried it and it's nice. I also think it's sexy to do it.
I know that I've talked to my photographer about taking shots at the wedding of the women holding and smoking cigars. I think it's really cool! What do you think? Is it sexy or not? Gregory and his brothers think it super hot! Personally I do too. |

Thank you Rhonda! You have helped me out tramendously! She has been my backbone since I've started here and I really appreciate everything she has done. She has been so patient and so easy to work with, especailly with my back and forth questions and suggestions. This girl put up some placecards last month and made me go into crazy mode. LOL First I fell in love with the feather placecards, then the bows, then the rhinestones. This has been a hard decision. LOL I love all of them! Gregory and I finally came to a conclusion on the placecards for our reception. We are going with the plain bows with rhinestones! Even though I love the feather ones so much, we decided to not put to much feathers on the tables, since the centerpieces have feathers in them anyways along with the damask overlays. Something simple but straight to the point like CHANEL. Thank you Rodrhonda4ever! |

Vent! 50 days to go
Everything is coming together, but driving me crazy!
OMG! It's creeping up on me! I'm so excited. 50 days left before Gregory and I tie the knot! I've been knocking things out here and there, losing sleep, having nightmares, getting back r.s.v.p's. I don' t understand how people add additional people to the r.s.v.p's? I would never do that if my name was addressed on the envelope only. What in the world are people thinking? Groomsman backed out for a trip to Hawaii with his girlfriend! 2 Bridesmaids kicked out and ejected a while ago... Some good news: Our venue is paid in full, food has been finalized, transportation is done, all linens and chaircovers rented, candy ordered for buffet, still need to decide on the honeymoon. Augh! FH hubby says that is in the works and not to worry, I'm not. LOL Anyways, 51 days left and I'm marrying the man of my dreams. Our house is all complete with the moving, except for the guest room. Least of my worries. Good night to all! |
