The Proposal...Did I propose to him?
So there really wasn't an earth shattering, emotion filled, creative, over the top proposal...Charles and I have been together for almost 6.5 years, we have 2 sons together (5 all together) and basically live as if we are married. I was one to never really care about getting married or having a wedding, until it dawned on me that I deserve it. So one day, I can home from work, on July 28, 2009 and I said to him "I want to get married", he said "Okay...", and I said "Are you serious?"...he said "Yes", and I said "lets set a date then", and he said "okaaaay...", so that is how the proposal or lack of a proposal went. We initially set a date in August of 2010, but once we realized how much everything was going to cost, we decided to not rush it and, so we set our new date to June 30, 2012, no real significance, just that it was a saturday. So there you have it!

The Rings...
So since there wasn't really a proposal, we went after to go look at rings and we found a set that I really love, our bands match and the ring is me! I think it is stunning! As you can see, the rings still have the tags on, because they won't be officially mine...until he makes the last payment!...lol
