Time to vent! We finally finished collected addresses and stuffing all 200 of our beautiful STDs. This morning the FI took the envelopes to the post office to drop them off so they wouldn't sit around in our mailbox. I purchased the holiday forever stamp back in December because I knew the price of stamps was changing 2012. We had already put all of the stamps on the envelopes & they were ready for shipping. When the FI took the STDs to the post office this morning he was told that we had to add an extra 20 cent stamp to each card just because they are SQUARE!
Seriously? I guess I should have checked the rates for "special sized" envelopes. I just didn't realize we'd have to pay $128 just to mail our STDs.
GRRRRRRR!
